Does the country or area where you live experience the fall season?

Fall scenery - Fall is coming to Boston!

It's only September and here in Boston the leaves on the trees are already beginning to change color! I was amazed this morning when I noticed it. The mornings are getting a lot cooler now and I love it. It won't be long and I can take the AC out of the window and put the fan away. The worst part of all this is that now the winter clothes have to start coming out of the basement and the summer go into boxes and everything just get switched. A job I hate. I loved living in San Diego because I never had to do that but I did miss the changing season there. Do you live where the seasons change? Do you get to see the leaves changing color on the trees? I think that's one of the best parts of it.

I wish we had fall here longer. I think it will start getting cooler hopefully in October. We still have the 80s and humidity here. Bleh.

Well here in Minnesota we are once again experiencing the humifity and temps in the 90's for the next few days. I am sick of this heat and humidity. Ugghh! I can't wait for the snow to start falling. HAHAHA!! HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

As much as I hate the heat I think I hate the snow even more. I'm not looking forward to that at all!

Yes, ctry, we do experience the changing of the seasons in this part of the country. It is still a little early for us, though, since we are still having temperatures in the 90s. We are expected to reach 95* tomorrow. I can hardly wait for the cool weather to come to our area.

This is what I don't like about this time of the year. We could have days that are in the 90's but the mornings will start out very cold and then all of a sudden we're freezing. MA weather...wait a minute and it will change...ha ha ha!

Oh man does it!! I live in Kentucky, the rolling hills are just breath taking in the fall, let me tell ya. We always plan a weekend road trip in October for my birthday, to go travel the state to take in the fall beauty. I love it cause it is so darn amazing to see the hills go on and on with so many bright gorgeous colors blending in with each other against a blue clear sky. It give me goose bumps just thinking about it. I am already starting to get excited with the thoughts of Fall coming. Spring and Fall both are my favorite times of the year.

I visited Kentucky one time and loved those hills. I can imagine how great they would look in the fall. We take trips to New Hampshire to see the most awesome foliage.

Yes I live in Virginia and I love seeing the leaves changing colors. I am not looking forward to the cooler weather though and will miss the summer heat. In Samoa there is the dry season and wet season and that is basically it. In New Zealand they have fall as well but I never saw the trees change color as much as I do here in Virginia. It's beautiful when that happens especially all the trees that are alongside our apartment block, its lovely!

I don't think I would be happy living in Samoa...I wouldn't appreciate a wet season very much!

I live on the west coast of Canada and we have all 4 seasons unlike parts of Canada where it is always summer or winter. I love Fall and spring the best. I love to watch nature at it's grandest glory.

I really feel bad for the people who don't get to experience fall just for all the beautiful colors.

Yup! Used to live in a country with only two seasons, moved to Europe nearly a year ago, arrived during the fall season. I love it! Maybe it's just me but there's something romantic with all the leaves falling on you. The weather's cold though but it's bearable, unlike winter kind of cold.

unfortunately we dont. we only have 2 seasons here-rainy and summer.. that's it with tropical countries. but i think i might fall season... deciding mostly from what i've seen and observed, fall is like slowing things up right before winter.. i'd love to experience seeing the leaves change their color.

I would say you really are missing something by not having the fall to experience. It's a beautiful time of the year.

I live in NY. My friend moved to Arizona. Last year, she asked me to send her pictures of the leaves and I took a ton of them. I never realized that some oak trees have brownish purplish leaves. We had trees with 3 colors last year, so I sent them. Sumac had really bright red last year. She really misses fall. She finds the constant, or almost constant heat of the day oppressive. She misses our falls and springs.

Isn't it amazing the different colors the leaves will take on? I have seen some turn purple and they are beautiful.

We live in the state of Maine, so yes we see the leaves changing color. I really love fall, its my favorite time of year. Not to hot, not to cold, the colors are great. I love taking a ride along a country road and having all the trees hang over the road in their pretty colors. It can be kind of spell bounding.

I don't live that far from Maine but I don't often get there and wish I could more often. I know it's a gorgeous state all year 'round.

Yep we experience fall here in the twisting nether I call home. In fact the leaves started falling in August. Time to break out the rake, but not too soon.

In Poland we have all four seasons with all they have the best :D The fall is time when weather becomes a little unstable. I can be very sunny and at other times it's raing all day long. But when leaves start falling they're changing colors from grean to yellow, red and brown. It looks beautiful. Many people collect then chesnuts that fall to the ground or rowan-berries to make beeds from them:) Yay, I like fall :D

I used to collect the best colored leaves and press them in waxed paper to keep in a book. I also start looking for pine cones for Christmas decorations about now.

I live in Melbourne Florida and i've lived here pretty much my entire life and our fall usually consists of one day it being sweltering hot and the next day it being freezing cold. it was such a contrast when i was up in tallahassee last year for school and all the leaves were changing colors and falling off the trees. it was so beautiful! i wish we had more of that down here.

It's basically like that here in Boston. One day it will be 95 but one day it will be 40 and that's the end of the nice weather for us and winter has come.

Well here in Minnesota we had a very hot and humid July and a lot of the trees had changed colors very very early. I drive up to the North Shore past Duluth near the Canadian border to view some magnificent colors during early September. I won't be making that trip this year as I've too much to do. But that area is great as its a 2 lane highway all the way to the Border lined with acres and acres of wooded forest land. HAPPY POSTINGS FROM GRANDPA BOB !!~

Yep we do but then I'm not really that far from you just head west, jump the lake and I'm in Michigan... I love to watch the leaves change but then it is a sign of all you said - winter is not far off.

Close up of a fall colored leaf - fall leaves
Fall is one of my favorite seasons of the year...I just love how nature is ablaze with all those beautiful colors, and yes I live here in NY so of course we have a spectacular fall season...I couldn't imagine living in a place that didn't have a real change of seasons. During the fall I load up on film (still a film camera user) and have blissful days taking picture after picture of the fall foliage. Here's one of my shots from last year :)

it is hot in my city in September now, but recently there are too much rain, so it is cool in the morning and evening. frankly, there is no fall in my city. when it is rainy, then i can feel a little cold in september. usuallly it is hot in september here. in my hometown there is fall. and the wind is too strong and it is cold in september. i like fall, because it is a harvest season.

I live in southern Japan and am desperatly waiting for the weather to catch with the season. It is still very hot here...35C today and tomrrow should see the same! I love the fall, the colours changing. Toward the end of October we drive up the mountains near here and look out over a valley of the most beautiful leaves. But even though that is beautiful I will never forget the year I was in Vermont as the seasons changed! I'm from England and although we do have the fall colours we also have a lot of rain, not heavy down pours, but this awful drizzel that makes everything feel damp. I was only 20 when I visited the USA and was totally amazed at the bright sun and beautiful colours!
