how many of you have played word whomp and have not won the game because of some wierd word that you never knew was even a word? I know I have countless times. Or you try a word that you know IS a word, but the pogo site says that it is not.

I think it happens to everyone. They have addressed it in newsletters many times, but I personally think that if I can find a word in a dictionary, there is no excuse for it not being in the game. They should correct it. Also, they seem to pull up entries for all these odd words from an online dictionary, but when I look them up in my personal dictionary at home, I can't find half of them.

You are absolutely right. I get so frustrated when I play that game. I have got to where I don't even play that game anymore. They have such stupid things on there that they call words but are actually more like prefixes and suffixes. They really should change their "instructions" to include three-letter prefixes and suffixes, and to actually READ A DICTIONARY for goodness sake. You were right when you said that they say that real words are not in their dictionary. Lord I could gripe about this all day, but I'll stop for now. Thank you for your discussion.
