Is it really necessary to be fair white to feel beautiful?

There are a lot of whitening soap around to make your skin fair, do we really need white fair skin to be beautiful. Maybe use them to get an even color for your skin and to remove unsightly blemishes, but to become caucasian white using it, I think that's ridiculous. What do you think?

definetelly not in my point of view.we should not be fair white to feel beautiful coz we know we having different type of genetic which determine what color of our skin. then why should be white if our skin is brown or others? just always keep your skin fresh up, it will make you feel beauty in natural way and look

Sounds like people are subscribing to the old-fashioned idea that fair skin is best. I am caucasian. Parts of me are darker than others because we spend time outside fishing. Others have a graveyard-tan. I just don't worry about it. People not caucasian that feel the need to use this are doing themselves a disservice. If they are using it to become lighter. Be happy with your skin color.

Yes, I do find them sometimes funny. If you are brown, black, white, it is you and no one not anything can change the color. Those whitening soap may be effective for a while but it cannot change what your original color is. There are those who like to be white like americans and europeans but it it their true color. But for sure those who are really black cannot be changed by any whitening soap. For those asians maybe a little whittier but not necessary white. Remember black is beautiful.

I never even heard if whitening soap. The funny thing is, I am pale with olive undertones and wish I had darker skin. I am so sick of my pasty pale skin. I think everyone's skin tone is perfect for them. I hope no one really believes they should lighten their skin to look beautiful. Look at Michael Jackson. That didn't work out so well. He was fine the way he was before he decided to bleach his skin. People come in all skin tones and colors and all are just as beautiful as the other. Except for my pasty white, ghostly pale skin. lol.

I don't think any skin tone over another is beautiful. A persons natural skin tone, whatever it is, is the most beautiful for that person. I am caucasian and have very pale skin, and although I would like to have tanned skin, I don't because I know it is one way of getting skin cancers.

I don't used any whitiening to my skin for me being fair skin is beautiful. I'm a fair asian skintone and eversince never got in my mind to have a white skin. Maybe only us asian thinks white skin is beautiful, many americans loves asian colors thats why they spent time in the sun to be tan in color.

For me personally, it's not really necessary at all to be white fair in skin because after all as what the old sayings goes 'Beauty is on the Eye of the Beholder' and 'Beauty is only skin deep'...which means, that true beauty truly comes from 'Within'.:-) Hope this helps...
