I dont believe in that saying..maybe "attraction at first sight"..but to love at first sight?i dont think so..yes you are right..how will you love a person in just one look?even if you dont know her/his real identity..love comes in process..not just in a blink of an eye.and i believe that it should comes first in the getting to know each other stage..

Yes I agree with you that "attraction at first sight" does happen, but "love at first sight" not really. Thanks for responding!

I wouldn't say I fell in love at first site, but I knew by the end of the first day that I was going to spend the rest of my life with my spouse. I really did fall in love with him that first night, and we've been together ever since so yea I do think its possible. Love is a strange and magical thing and no one can predict when or where its going to happen.

LOL I meant sight. But as am using the word "site" quite often from last few days, I typed "site" instead of "sight" by mistake. Thanks for such an interesting responding!

I think someone can have a crush on someone at first sight or even lust at first sight. But love, that is something that takes time, knowing, and trust. To me, when someone says love at first sight, I think that person doesn't have a clear understanding of what love really is about.

You have raised a good point, how can one fall in love at the first sight, without knowing the other fellow in details. I think, those who have experienced this, can write on this topic in a better way. Unfortunatey, it never happened with me...so it will be difficult for me to find out the reasons, how this can happen.

hello indiavani,
i don't believe in love at first sight.i don't think such a thing exists also.yeah you can call it attraction.that would be the appropriate word for it.the point is how can you love a person whom you don't even know?love is a very strong emotion and it can't be realized in just seconds of time.people take years to know a person and realize love for somebody.how can this be done withing seconds?
my fiance says he loved me from the first sight itself but i don't believe him.i took 2 long years to know him and we were friends at that time.then he proposed me and i agreed.and now its been 3 long years of my relationship.and i think with each passing day the love for your significant half increases.

I've experienced having deep attraction then it develop into love. I believe it's love at first site because from the day I met him I can't stop thinking of him.
