When does a wife..becomes a mistress and mistress become a wife???

Love problems, I believe these is a very common scenario in a love relationship. A wife become a mistress when his husband is already deadly in love with their mistress and the tendency that the husband will be choosing his mistress.now the mistress become a wife??for me this is sad
