Jerry Lewis used an anti-gay slur during the 18th hour of his Labor Day Telethon. In a statement, Lewis apologized for using, what he called, a bad choice of words.

I agree that he should not have said it, but I don't think that if they had not made such a big issue of it, many of people would have noticed it. I am glad that he apologized.
