If pro is the opposite of con, is progress the opposite of congress?

Yes its a funny thing in the English language. People sometimes call English as a loony language.People use to funny phrases like "IF VEGETARIANS EAT VEGETABLES WHAT DO HUMANITARIANS EAT?" There are many more examples like that which is the lighter side of English languge

My favorite is: "If a cluttered desk is the sign of a cluttered mind, what is an empty desk the sign of?". I have it posted over my (cluttered) desk!

Yes, it makes a lot of sense. I love the play of words you are into, and the more I think of it, the more sense it makes :)
