Do you think this is worth buying? It's a flashlight that's supposed to never need batteries...and it's supposed to work for about 1 hr after just 1 minute of "cranking" the "handle" or whatever it is... Have you ever seen, bought, or heard of it?! I'm interested to know if it works as it says it's supposed to...i think it might be better than the one I currently have which is one of the "shake" lights...and works ok...but you have to shake so much to get the light on...maybe this might be better...it certainly is more expensive though...

We had one of the crank type flashlights but not the illuminator one. The light was not bright enough and the rechargable batteries ran down on us. We decided to get the shake type and like them a lot more. Its hard to say if the illuminator is comparable to the one I got or not. Sorry, I m sure this isnt a lot of help.

Thank you for responding! It helps just to know what kind of eco-friendly flashlight you use. I don't mind the shake light...it's ok...but it just takes a lot of shaking I think before the light is nice and bright.
