I need to do a research paper for my english class, but I need to make it arguementative. I would like to do it on Tupacs Lyrics and how some of his lyrics were misunderstood and controversial, but I don't know how to make that an arguement. I need some help...

I love 2pac. Have you done your paper? How did it go. As a black rapper he was misunderstood by many before he opened his mouth.

It is a sad world we live in and he wrote an honest account of the way he lived, he was only trying to make a point of saying he didn't like the way he grew up, he had no choice, and he would in fact like things to be different in an ideal world, but until then, It just the way it is.

I haven't done it yet...it's not due until the end of the semester, but I have to provide my topic next week. I'm glad someone else is as passionate about his lyrics as I am. For a minute I was starting to think I was crazy for wanting to write about his lyrics. THere is no better rapper, and the rappers today need to keep Tupac on heavy rotation in their cd players to learn some lessons on what rap music is really about. Tupac's lyrics are still heart felt till this day. I wish he was still alive, because I know he would have made a great difference in hip hop, and in our society. Thanks for your comment, I was thinking of switching my topic, but I think I might stick with it. The flame is burning again.

I am so glad you have decided to use him as your topic, he was a very artistic man. I also think you are right, some artists today need to start listening so songs with meaning. Funny how a lot of people use his stuff for back and such, they are either cleaver and know there song will sell, or they are genuine fans, Hope the later is true.
