for me,it is very important in job.
once i worked in a company, then i couldn't get along well with my
colleagues, then some of them often talk ill behind me. if i made some mistakes, then they would tell my manager.
frankly, i don't want to get along well with them, because i think they are too boring. they have enough time to complete their work in a day, but they must do it in more than 2 days.
what do you think about it?

Relationship really matters in all aspects of life, whether in family, in school, in peers, in work. If you don't know how to handle relationships, it will be to your disadvantage. It is better to get along well with colleagues, coz working harmoniously will have positive output.

I am friendly with my coworkers but they are not my friends. I prefer to keep my personal life separate from my work life. I don't talk a lot about my personal life to my coworkers. It's good to be friendly but I don't get too personal. On a few occasions I have gone places with coworkers after work or they invited me to a birthday party or BBQ because usually they invite all their coworkers.
I get a long with them very well but I do not let them know all my business. It's ok if you have people at work you are friendly with. Have lunch together, talk to them. If you are antisocial that can be looked at as a bad thing you might even get passed up for a promotion because they see you don't get along with them.

Without maintaining relationship anywhere in your life, life aside your job, you cannot move ahead and be happy, I am firm believer that I must maintain my relationship with each and everyone one who matters to me, at any cost.
Good Post.
