With all these made in China talk... recalls on products like: toys, dog food, toothpaste, candies... would you still buy product made in china which are not part of the recall, example: shoes, computers, watches, bags, etc.
Luckily, there my country has a lot of locally made products so i have an option not to buy anything made in China...

Hello aseretdd,
I seldom buy made in China products. Like you, we also have a full variety of choices and local products to buy here. I just read an article in newspaper today about Mattel company has to recall some of their toys products from the market due to impermissible levels of lead. They have to recall the playsets (Barbie Ultimate Furniture Playset, Barbie Kitchen Playset and Barbie Premium Furniture Playset Asst or Barbie Living Room Playset) following the company's ongoing investigations of toys manufactured by vendors in China.

In America we have a lot of things made from China it would be hard to know how to stop buying from China. I sure have been looking at lables to see where the items came from before buying. I think we as American's need to start buying more items that are "Made in the USA" and not the cheaper items from China. If American's stop buying from Chia or other counties and buy more from our county we would not have lead in our paint and poision in the dog food.
