Did you like Prue better than Paige?

Well I prefer Paige over Prue. Prue wasn't a bad character but she was very bossy and everything seemed to be about her. Her character was also very hypocritical. She'd help a warlock or a demon if she liked them but when Phoebe thought Cole could be good Prue was against him and wouldn't give him a chance for a long time. Paige was very refreshing when she came on and it seemed to me the stories seemed to then take turns between the sisters instead of being centered around one in particular most of the time. I liked how they came up with the premise of Paige and didn't just try to recast Prue with a different actress when Shanon Doherty walked off. It was at least believable.

I stopped watching it right after they killed Prue I think the seasons where Prue played were the best ever since then I lost interests in charmed too

I have to say that I actually liked Paige better than Prue. I not only didn't care too much for the character, but I don't care too much for Shannon as a person. She can never finish a series because of her attitude and she thinks that she is just everything. She's not. If you notice, she hasn't really done much since Charmed. She had her own t.v. show called Scare Tactics, but it was horrible. She also left BH 90210 in the middle of the series. She just doesn't do it for me. Besides, Paige is hotter!

I prefered Paige over Prue just for the simple fact that Shannon Dohrety has such a bad additude. They offered her a spot on the finale and she refused because she is a stupid stuck up snob that is so stuck on herself it is not funny. I will never watch ANYTHING that has Shannon Dohrety in it. I am simply not a fan. Besides my absolute favorite was Piper anyway.

I like Paige alot better. For one I much preferred seeing Piper in the "big sister" role because she was my favorite out of all of them. I don't really care for Shannon Dohrety. From what i've read she absolutely refused to be a part of the shows Finale which I thought was just wrong.She is a self centered little witch pardon the pun. Its not I didn't like the character Prue. I did and hated to see her go. I loved all the Charmed girls. Just don't care much for Shannon Dohrety the person.

I like Prue than Paige. When Prue was replaced, I haven't watched the show completely because it was starting to be boring without Prue.

i prefer paige but not for she i prefer because in this episode the charmed have more power and make more thinks.

i liked both...as they both added there own to he show.. i miss the show..was one of the better ones on the tv.. wish the girls in it all the best

I would have preferrred Prue. She had a charisma, and when she was in a scene she really had command. I've always been a fan of Shannen Doherty, despite her rumored behavior. But for the show's sake, I truly think Prue was a lot better than Paige.

I don't know, but I'm still trying to figure out how they did the switch. I thought they were just gona replace the person playing the part, not create a new character. And if memory serves me right, I think that's why I stopped watching it. But then when the reruns came I began to watch.

I liked both of 'em for different reasons. But favorite of the sisters is Piper, I also like the name Piper in general. I was pissed when they decided to end it, every now and again I'll watch the reruns on t.v. Was a good series, some episodes were stupid but for the most part, I enjoyed 95% of the episodes.

I was always hoping that Paige would meet Prue even if it was in her ghostly image. They should've at least kept some pictures of Prue around the Halliwell house so Paige could look at them every once in a while lol. When I heard that Prue was going to appear in the series finale, I thought that they would finally meet each other. Of course that never happened. Instead, they had Prue reincarnate as one of Piper's grandkids. The little girl waved her hand and the front door closed, just like what happened at the ending of the very first episode.

I like Prue. She was more an actress than Paige was. I wished that the network would put the show back on. I really loved the show.

I haven't seen Charmed for a while, and have missed one or two series because of tv stations changing times when it is screened, but I liked Prue better than Paige. I think Piper is actually my favourite.

Agree with you. Even if I understand that an acot might not be always ideintified in the same role plaid, the enter of Paige seemed to be untruth and I didn't like it. Then, I might add (even if not a guy) that Prue's most charmant than Paige.. As woman what I don't really like is: why series producers think that showing undressed women 8and men) might caught public attention more than a good story? This doesnt happen in others series I use to watch. Csi, Ncis, Cold Case, etc are just few example... What do u think 'bout? Am I so wrong? lou

Hiyee! it's moi! :-) Anyway, I would have preferred Prue staying in the series. She's more believable as Piper and Phoebe's sister than Paige. I also think Shannen Doherty acts better than Rose McGowan. It's too bad she didn't get to stay until the end of the series. I think Charmed lost a number of viewers because of the changes that were made.
