what do you think about the retirement of sachin from one day matches after he plays his last series in india. i think it is a huge loss to the cricket world.Tendulkar is indeed in spectacular form ... but if he feels that he should retire from ODIs, then he is the best person to make the call. However, if he has already confirmed the decision to retire in the near future, then it would be ideal if he could help India win the Commonwealth Bank series ODI tournament in Australia before he retires. A ODI tournament win is Australia would truly be a memorable and fitting end to his sparkling ODI career. see the orginal article http://amitavarticles.blogspot.com/

Its been denied by his wife that Sachin does not have any plans to retire sooner. Anjali Tendulkar said in the media that if Sachin would have had any plans to retire after this England series then she would have been with him in England right now. Media has been claiming that he was to announce his retirement in England but his friends told him to announce in India. But his wife's statement indicates that He wasn't planning to retire after this England series, so retirement would be the last thing on his mind after spirited performances against england and he seems to have rejuvenated himself. So i don't think he is about to retire after Australia or Pakistan series, the whole of India wants to see more of Sachin that has been on fire in the recent time.

I cant understand why we are exerting pressure on tendulkar to retire considering the fact that Ganguly and Dravid are senior to him in age.
