I hate to discuss about religion!!!!

Religion, for this matter, is a touchy subject and I think some people here on mylot take things way too far. For one, I don't want to be preached too. I don't care what you have to say about your religion, or how I'm going to hell if I don't listen to you. I don't care. So really, preaching on mylot, on an online message board, isn't going to save souls. I think religion should be discussed in a different matter, especially if you're posting to the general public and not to like minded individuals.

I can't say I hate religion. I dislike the fact that some people feel the need to oppress others or fight to prove their religion is right. In most cases thats actually contrary to their own religious docterate. I've actually been trying to make that point on here.

I don't like talking about this subject, too. As people will have different religions and it's no need to argue which religion is the best in the world. On the contrary, we shall respect to each other's different belief.

i am a religious person and being that i feel like it is my duty to spread the word but i certainly would not opress the others to change their beliefs and it is not even allowed in islam. we are just allowed to spread the truth and it is up to the listener if he agrees or disagrees, we cannot force him. but unfortunately, people do tend to go violent on religious matters which is just not the way. it is simple as this: tell what u want to tell, respond to people who want to know more and leave them alone to make the decision. and think a little urself too... by saying 'religion stuff is all based on stories', arent u creating hatred against urself from the people who follow their religion honestly?

i wont name names but there was this one person here on mylot who kept negating one religion and me replying to him was probably the worst mistake!! discussing religion should be a big No-No!!

I agree with you why are christains so pushy i dont know if your talking about wicca to or paganism, but they dont push they may talk about it but they dont push. thats what christains always did they killed anyone that didnt believe them in the starting stages of christainty and that is why is so widley known b/c they killed anyone with a freethinking mind. People need to start thinking for themselves then they will relieze that what they believe in isnt really something that is right. I dotn think God if there is a God would make us burn in hell if we didnt go to church or GIVE MONEY to the church. It pisses me off when I watch some tv and flip to a church channel and he is saying GOD IS TELLING ME TO TELL YOU TO GIVE 1000 DOLLARS TODAY AND YOU WILL BE BLESSED. Whoever believes that deserves to be shorted 1000 dollars. That is how most christians are and they wonder why so many people arent christains anymore.
