Are you Possessive to your partner? Why or why not?

i'm a possessive to my partner. don't ask me the reason, because i don't know, and i had never thought about it. once, we played cards with my friends. one of my female friend constantly talked with my boyfriend and she didn't pay attention to playing cards. i felt very uncomfortable, but i said nothing and went on playing cards with them. then she touched my boyfriend's leg and said he was strong and sexy, then i looked at my boyfriend's reaction, he standed up and gave each a bottle of juice. then we played again. i asked my boyfriend why he talked with her. he frankly said that if she was not my friend, then he wanted to give her a slap. and he didn't allow me to contact with her.

I am not possessive to to Bruce because it would be like caging an animal. He wants my love and attention but does not want to be caged. He is also the same with me.

Most people that are possessive of their partner are insecure in their relationship.They want to control their partner.I am not possessive as I totally trust my partner in all his decisions and I also know he will not cheat on me.However my last relationship I was possessive because I was insecure.AndI had a write to be.He was still backand forth with his ex.
