Facts about MOLES (Do you have moles? Where?)

Moles that are present at birth are congenital moles. Acquired moles are developed anytime later. Moles are made up of a particular type of cell, and the name is use to distinguish them from the other, similar appearing fleshy growths. Most moles that are acquired during life are usually less than 1/4 inch in size. Many of those that form in childhood and early adult life are now thought to be due to sun damage. Most people think of a mole as being a dark brown spot, but moles have a much wider range of appearance. They can be raised from the skin and very noticeable, or they may contain dark hairs. Having hairs in moles doesn't make it more dangerous. Moles can appear anywhere in the skin, alone or grouped. They are usually in brown color and can be various sizes and shapes. Special cells that contain the pigment melanin cause the brown color. Do you have moles? is it congenital moles or acquired moles? Where can you see your mole? Is it noticeable or hidden? i have a lot of moles on my face... on my back and the other parts of my body... i remember when i was a kid theres only 2 piece of maoles on my face and now i have a 6... but they're not big... its just a nice one to look at... sometimes moles make us look more attractive... people who doesnt have it try to fake some... lol

yeah! its a trademark...and its add beauty... i remember one of my friend... used to put some moles on her face coz she doesnt have one on it... everytime she's meeting someone, like her textmates? she wants me to put a little one on her nose lol... shes always saying this to me " jenny you have a lot of moles on your face can i have one of those?" hhahahahha shes sooo desperate to have it

I guess I have a acquired mole, because I don't have it in my baby pictures, but my grandmother, aunt, & mother & I
of course have the same kind of mole 1/4 inch off the lip, then my mothers in on the chin, my aunts is on the chin
but only a slight difference in location. And my grandmothers is on her neck. You can almost draw a
straight line down between the four of us. I hate this mole it has ugly hairs that grow out of it and it is a
constant chore to keep it well groomed. I removed one on my neck with some dental floss but it was a floppy mole,
the one on my lip is more attached. The floss helps cut the circulation off of it so it doesn't get a blood supply
and falls off after about two weeks. I hate this mole, and I have a couple of others that could not be there if I
had a choice about it.

no, its really a mole, it varies in sizes and shape as i've said and some can have hairs too. i don't have big moles so it doesn't really bother me to have it. If you removed your mole just be sure you did the right procedure so you won't infect it.

Yes I have a few moles on my body. One is on my face, another is under my chin and on the back of my neck. Another is on my stomach and last one is on my boobie. I do keep a good eye on them to be sure they're not turning colors for I do know they can become cancerous. I take after my grandmother for she had quite a few as well.

I have some moles on my body.On my chest,legs,neck,below right eye,beside lips,and etc.I havemy big moles too on my back.I like having moles.

I don't have any moles, I'd freak out if I saw one on my body now, I'd assume it would be cancer.

I have two moles on the back of my neck. They are inherited moles, because that is where my father had them, and my brother has them as well. My mother had one on her cheek. They are brown, not cancerous, and I do have some pale ones under my arms, which means that I cannot shave there but have to use either Nair or Neet.
