Just this morning I took my daughter to the park. After about an hour of being out in the sun and seeing her face turn more and more red I decided it was time to go. I got us all packed up in the car and got all the way home to realize I had left the stroller sitting on the sidewalk next to the car. Me being the tight wad I am and not wanting to spend another $10 on a stroller drive all the way back hoping it is still there. Luckily it was.
I swear there are days I feel like I am getting dumber and dumber. I wish there were some kind of vitamin or herb made just for moms to get their brains back after having kids.
Now it's your turn to tell a story about something stupid you've done that you can blame on "mommy brain".

I am usually pretty careful about making sure I have everything. The only thing I can think of that I have ever left anywhere is one of my son's shoes at home. lol. I put both shoes on him, then let the dogs out, and back in the house again. Apparently he took it off during the time that I was down in the basement with them. I got him into the car without realizing he only had one shoe on. We got where ever we were going, and I noticed one shoe. I pulled everything out from under the front seat thinking the shoe might have got wedged under there, but nope, it was still at home!
My husband would be the one more likely to forget a stroller. He's left the diaper bag on top of the car and taken off before. He did notice when it thumped when it hit the back of the car. :)

It is called "having to much on your mind." I always do a mental check of everything we take out of our vehicle before leaving. My son is in a wheelchair and alot of the time we have a lot of things accompanying us. It helps to keep from having to make so many trips to get the things that were left behind. I still do it sometimes though. It is so easy to do.
