I'm so flattered to see my chubby little penguin on someone else's profile page.

Yesterday I was surfing through some profile pages, looking for discussions to answer and saw my chubby little penguin avatar picture on someone's page, under their friends list. It was definitely a nice surprise. I felt so proud, as if someone was showing me off to the rest of the world. As if they were saying, "Look everyone, she's my friend!" I know that those avatars only appear for most recent friends, but it was still a nice thought. Nice to feel like you have friends. Nice to know that others would look at that little penguin and think, "Maybe she is worth having as a friend, if others like her so much." What do you think? Are you ever surprised when you see your avatar on another member's profile page under the friendship section? Does it make you happy knowing that they would consider you a friend? Do you feel proud to show off your friends avatars on your profile page?
