Does your child slam doors while you are trying to sleep?

Tonight while my spouse was trying to take nap, our little girl kept slamming the bathroom door. And, you could hear it through the entire house. She wasn't throwing a tantrum or slamming the door to be mean though. Our bathroom door has a little catch on it, cause it's so old and you have to practically slam it to get it shut.
Anyway, it kept waking him up. Sometimes she will get up in the middle of the night to go to the bathroom and when she comes out, she will slam the door again, waking up everyone in the house. Do your kids do things like that? Do they accidentally slam doors or turn on the lights throughout the house after everyone has gone to bed?

My son isn't allowed out of his room by himself at night. If he needs something he has to call for me first. He isn't potty trained yet, so there is really no reason to get up on his own yet. Plus he can't reach most of the light switches so he would have to walk around in the dark.
When my husband was on nights, sometimes my son would accidentally wake him up by closing a door. It was usually our bathroom door, too. The bathroom is right across the hall from our bedroom. My son would come out from washing his hands and close the door. He is still so little, that he has a hard time getting a hold of doors well enough to slowly close them so they don't make so much noise.

Our little girl is the same way. She doesn't know how to grasp the door knob and turn it, so that the door doesn't clang as it closes. The door is slightly off it's hinges at the top, so you have to maneuver it gently so that it doesn't slam as it closes. Sometimes I forget and bump it too hard getting it shut and wake up everyone in the house. Most times I just leave the bathroom door open after I leave, so that I don't forget. But, she always shuts the door. Not sure why.

LOL or if there is a fire—I need to know where she is- I’m hoping she outgrows this- : )
