Now we experienced it... They say "It is better to have no electricity rather than shortage or no water at all." We suffered almost three days of shortage of water now here in my place, they say the maintenance are trying to fix something and they had to lessen the supply of water. How about you guys have you experienced shortage of water in your place how you deal with this kind of problem?

Hi friend , i never experienced too much of water or electricity crisis when i was young and till i was not married. but now after marriage , where i am living, there is always a problem of electricity and water. today we are not even having drinking water. we are rarely supplied water in our bathroom. all we get is sometime one or one an a half hour maximum, drinking water in the kitchen pipeline. water in the bathroom is supplied once in a blue moon and we suffer a lot. we dont even have any storage as live in an apartment, we dont have much space. all we have to is suffer. it is soo frustating. when the water is supplied in the kitchen we quickly fill our drinking one and then fill our buckets and take to the bathroom to take bath. mornings are always frustating here.i just hate to live here, but have to as i am married and have no other choice to go anywhere else .

I have faced it but not a total off from water, its hard to imagine and i know whats your feeling now. We had a bad power failure once and we had no water for several hours and then some water supplier came to to our community and we bought the water from them. This summer I have seen thousands of people from south and north England were suffereing from water cricis after a big flood over there for a long period of time and have seen the real cricis there

As you can see, I am from Cavite. We also have NAWASA here, but we mostly depend on our water coming from deep-wells. We don't drink it, because we buy those purified water on gallons. We only use deep-well waters for washing clothes, dishes/plates and for watering plants. So we don't experience water shortage, or should I say, we are not that affected!;)

Here in our province we seldom experienced shortage of water, sometimes there was an schedule of water interuption due to repair and expansion. Maybe we are lucky to have a good source of water from Mt Banahaw. We thank nature for it. if the anounced that there will be schedule of water intruption of course we save water in all avalable container to last for at least three days.

Hi lynboobsy11! I agree with you that I would rather have no electricity than to have no water. Luckily, we are not experiencing any shortage of water in our area and I can really enjoy taking long hours of bath any time I wish. I just hope that there will never come a time that we won't have water shortage and I hope you won't be having any shortage anymore too. Take care and have a nice day.

Our family consumes 1000 litres of water per day including clothes washing etc. I have installed a water tank with a capacity of 1500 litres and another tank above the kitchen with a capacity of 250 litres. Though there is shortage of water in the city and release the water on alternative days, my residence gets plenty of water for use and storage because it is situated in a slopy area. In my own commercial building attached to the residence, I have put another overhead tank of 2000 litres and we always have plenty of water.

Yes, I some time face shortage of water when our water supply authority have any problem then no water is given by them. But we have a large reserve tank inside our ground floor so we take water from that tank. If bad luck catch us the reserve tank's water exhaust then we face problem for shower only for 1 day, I go to relative's house and take shower. Our local people also kindered as if there is no water then we collect a large plastic barrel full water and spend it little little to cope up the situation. In the rainy season no need to other's house as we collect rain water. Though when a normal situation break then problem has to face.

Yes, you are right we can live without electricity, but not without water. Water shortage is faced by us also. Portable water is supplied for two hours in the morning and evening and sometimes if it does not reaches us, we become restless and it causes lots of tension for making arrangements for water. Without water, we cannot perform any of the functions such as washing, bathing and drinking etc. Have a nice day!

i experienced water shortage when i was studying in a college. it was really terrible. we couldn't have a bath for several days and we even didn't have water to wash face. we washed clothes in a pond with rather dirty water. just because of this experience, i become more disturbed and worried than others when there is water shortage even for only short time.

I have only tasted water that was slightly flavored with lemon. It didn't taste good. Does it taste better with a lot more lemon? Maybe not as good as lemonade, but a lot better than a single slice of a lemon? I'm all for trying new things, especially when they are healthy. Right now this week it has been so hot that we have either gone to a beach on the pool at the house and I am doing so much laundry it is sick, so I kinda hate both at the moment cause of the mess they both create.

This problem is becoming common every where in India. We call the water help line people so that they can supply water in the respective tanks.. This is the only way we deal in order to solve the water shortage problem.
