Do you change your hair style often?

My friends often tease me for maintaining the same hair style. It is the same for me since my birth. So, i thought i can ask you all and probably go to some parlour and ask them which style suits me. But i do use gels and other things on my hair. Do you have enough time to change your hair styles often? How important is it for you and how often you do it?

Actually, I usually only change my hair style after or during major life changes. I've been known to suddenly go from very long to very short, or go from wearing it in braids all the time to letting it cover my face, depending on what's going on in my life. I had it all cut off while I was pregnant with my son, and it was very short then, just a couple inches long. It grew out a couple of times before I decided what I really wanted to do with it, but I finally decided on having it a little longer in front and shorter in back, I can't think what the cut is called at the moment. I need to get it trimmed again now, as the front has almost reached my chin, and I'd rather have it less than halfway down my ear.

Hi Lecanis! Happy to see you back on My Lot. I hope all things are well with your child. I was so sorry to hear of your recent distress, but have not had one single minute to drop by to wish him well. As far as hair goes, my situation was exactly the opposite. While I was pregnant, my hair was so luxurious and long. I think the prenatal vitamins were doing their job. It was a heavy veil of hair to care for and was often a hassle. A few months after my baby was born, I chopped it all off up to my ears in frustration. I was no longer benefiting from the prenatal vitamins as much. Or, perhaps it was the stress that made my hair brittle and dry. Now, I am due for a color and cut. I was just thinking this to myself yesterday and wondering what I would do with my hair. I can't stand to go back to the natural brown color. It is a very unflattering shade of brown in my opinion. So, I keep it my signature red shade. Sometimes the red shade is very bright and alluring and other times it is demure and sophisticated, depending on what I am going through. Oh, I could go on and on about hair. As it is one of my favorite subjects. To everyone that dropped by the discussion, be well! And, best of luck on hair styles.

I don't change my style often like I did. For a while, I was doing perms, color, cuts, searching for a look I liked. Now, I still highlight my hair and get trims but I am not making major changes. I do need to decide whether to cut my hair or keep it real long though. My husband likes it long but I am bored and usually when I get bored with my hair, I do something different with it. I may keep it long and go for a punkier, more layered look. I make more subtle changes now than I used to. It's great to change the style even a little. You feel like a new person!

I haven't changed my hairstyle in about 13 years. Okay so in all those years I've cut it maybe 3 times, but other than that I haven't made any drastic changes. I'm happy with my hairstyle, so why change it? :)

Before when I was younger, I used to stay with the same haircut for years, but as I grew older I decided to change my hairstyle once in a while, so people wouldn't get tired seeing me with the same hairdo.

Well I have what they call Kinky hair. Most of the women have added extensions or proceesed (relaxed) their hair. I tried it twice and had massive hair loss. So my hair gives problems in being neat especially when it is combed back in one with a clip. What I do is from time to time I get it cornrowed or I rope twist it myself. I like to be neat and tidy in appearance so this is very improtant to me. You see I have to greet people and represent the Ministry and the boss I am the first person people see before my boss. I do have a comb in my bag and desk drawer which I use for a quick brush to ensure this hair stay neat. If my hair is twisted or cornrowed it can only alst for one week then I have to get another hairdo. Remember kinky hair? Well mine does not stay neat for veyr long thats why I alwasy have a comb with me.

I just recently grew my bangs out which is the first time I've really changed it in 20 years.I finally just got tired of fooling with them.LoL.I do know women that seem to change thier hair every other week or so.That is just too much trouble for me and well basicly I liked it the way it is.I find for me simplier is better.

I never really used to care how often I changed my hair style until I became a teenager. But, then I only changed my hair style every month. Now that I am married, I find myself changing my hair style every week. I feel like I have to do it to keep my husband interested still in me. I know it is weird but I read a lot to know that it isn't crazy to do so. If you don't keep your man interested, they are sure to look elsewhere.

First of all i am a lady, so the plan of changing of hairstyle depends on my mood. You atleast change your hairstyle once in a while or every 6 months, so that people will look inspired when they say you. Looks says it all. First impression is the best for initiating friendship. If you look good in the outside, people will realized maybe you are good also in the inside, but it is not always true. You have to experiment with your hair once in a while.

I don't change my hair style very often. Because usually I will feel nervous to have a new hair style and I need some time to adjust to it.

i love to change my hairstyle every now and then hehe. the only thing i don't dare to do is cut it into a short bob although i so want to! :P ..i got my hair permed last year and am now growing my hair..i'm quite bored of this hairstyle already since it's hard to maintain a permed hair, so i might want to cut my curls off and sport on another new hairdo hehe.. ;)

HellO! When I was still a student, I always cut my hair short as I was lazy to style it or do it. I did experienced having different hairstyles, even had it very short, had it layered, or whatever is the "in" style. But lately I haven't change my hairstyle, been wearing it straight, long black and just down for almost 2 years now.I do go to beauty salon for some trimming, hair treatment every 3-4months at least. You have to, to keep your hair healthy and shiny. Take care. ciao! =)

the hair style from birth? is that meaning you maintianing the bald?sorry i am not meaning that,i always have the same style too,the barber once said your hair is too soft,it can hardly stand up itself,as i am too lazy to make it up,so i just let it down ,and cut it from time to time to avoid it covering my eyes, and i know it has a long to go for me to be David Beckham, lol

I normally keep my hair up or down and bangs kinda short.. It really don't matter to me.. I just don't like it when it's in my face all the time though, that's when i have it down that is... I don't change the style of my hair though, when I do it don't look good so i just go back to what i normally do...
