Do you think they check everything?

Loads of people have opened discussions about how much you get paid for posting. The answer usually is that it is up to the quality of your response or discussion. I can't imagine that myLot reads every single post that is made here every day? That would seem impossible, how can they check if your post is a good one, can someone tell me that?

I'm agree that quality post can be determined through ratings. But is the non-rated post got earnings also? I've checked this and it seems if you post something long. The probability you get rated is higher. As for non rated one, you will get earnings also. The script will calculate how many words or paragraphs you write and they'll calculate it. If you write too long, the server will delete it as it's considered spam. That's why you won't be able to use copy paste until you reached 500 post minimum. I have started the same discussion on this issue if you might want to take a look. Hopefully you can find your answer there. Here it is : http://www.mylot.com/w/discussions/1270365.aspx

I think there are a couple of ways, one is ratings and two they may have a system that measure the amount of words used. I have notice length makes the difference, but those that use that to their advantage and do a ton of copy n pastes, get lower ratings from us members that see what they are doing, which cancels out the benefit of having a long post. So IMO just those two things makes it very possible for mylot to monitor quality without reading each post. However it’s just a theory and I have not idea if that is what they are doing.

it's very unlikely that mylot checks every single post that is made here, as that would just be an amazing undertaking, just think of checking every new discussion, then checking all replies to ever discussion (both old and new) as they come in! even with a mass of moderators it would just be impossible to make sure that every one was adhering to the rules all the time. generally i think they check peoples posts, but definately not all and they rely on good old us to report really bad discussions that blatently have no place here. i think what they mean as "paid for quality" rather than "quantity" has more to do with reputation than anything else, if you get a + for your discussion or response (even if you don't get best reply) mylot gets to know that your response or topic was quality.

I'm not exactly sure about this one but I had wondered about it myself. Maybe they have a script that runs on the site to tell if you are writing more than just one line? I think for bad quality posts or posts that violate the guidelines, they rely on users telling them or tagging the discussion so they can remove it. As I said, I'm not sure 100% but that seems like a likely explanation.
