Sketching!

Do you like pencil sketching?I think that it is better than drawings that are too complete.What do you think?

I love doing pencil sketches. Pencils and charcoals are my favorite drawing mediums. I love the depth I can achieve with shading. If my fingers end up all covered with charcoal or graphite when I'm done I know I've done a good job! LOL.
You didn't say if that's one of your pencil sketches but if it is one of yours, it's beautiful and you are much better at it than I am!

Hi craftcatcher!!!!!LOL!!!No thats not my sketch,I just used it to illustrate my discussion,at any rate
I do agree with you it is beautiful.I am pleased that
you also do pencil sketches.Charcoal is also a firm
favorite of mine and I used to do a lot of charcoal
sketches in the past.I do however prefer pencil because you can draw quite small if you want to,but
with charcoal it would have to be rather large.People
tend to look down on the pencil as an unworthy medium,but are very much mistaken as one can achieve
super realism and photographic realism with an ordinary everyday pencil.I only use H.B.and you cant get more ordinary than that.!!!!LOL!!!

I love to sketch.
I sketch, for the most part, to get ideas for drawings and paintings.
There is so much freedom in sketching. I see the freedom in sketching as being a very liberating experience.
