A Australian television comedy troupe known as "The Chaser’s War on Everything" managed to breach APEC & US Secret Service Security, the tightest the city of Sydney Australia has ever seen, and get within yards of the hotel in which George W. Bush was staying. The breach went unnoticed until one member of the troupe exited a car dressed up as Osama bin Ladin complete with fake beard and robes. * The Chaser’s War on Everything used a sham motorcade with three large cars and two motorcycles toting Canadian flags. The group followed police directions, the flags and the look of their convoy getting past those who should have known Canada's reps had not arrived yet for the meetings. * The Chaser’s War on Everything group consisting of 11 were all arrested and questioned. The Chasers claimed they believed they were given permission for the stunt. * Police are calling this a 'dangerous' stunt referring to the number of snipers posted about. * Those in charge of security are also very red faced, and very alarmed. They are asking themselves, "What if this wasn't a harmless comedy troupe? What if it was a group of terrorists with exploding cars?"* I think The Chaser’s War on Everything did George Bush and his security minions a big favor by showing up a massive hole in their security arrangement. Yes, they were made fools of, but their safety was aided by this buffoonery. An Australian perspective on this stunt: http://idents.tv/blog/2007/06/12/the-chaser-often-funny-says-today-tonight/
