The Microwave Popcorn Machine? How safe are they?

In this day and age when machine is taking over every aspect of our lives, do you sometimes worry about the safety of popcorns made out of microwave popcorn machines?
I am phobic of such machines and other appliances, including computers, for the radiation emissions they give out. I dont know if this a baseless fear-share your view.

I think that whar you fear about sounds reasonable to me. I am also worried about this. I just hope that the designers and producers have well tested its safety before it is put into mass production and on sale.
