I was looking through my bookshelf the other day and came across some books I had since I was a kid, like the Narnia series. They are still some of my favorite books but I haven't revisited them in a long time. I think I'm going to reread the set again. What were your favorite books as a child and have you read them since?

The Little House On The Prairie series by Laura Ingalls Wilder. Yes, I have read them again and I love them more each time. I also love the tv series (even though they don't follow the books all that much) and have them on dvd. Anne of Green Gables is another favorite of mine, although I don't care for all the books in the series.

Little House was good. I use to watch the show all the time. I've only read maybe one of the books though. They may be something to pick up in the future.

My favorite book when I was younger was Fox in Socks. We used to make our babysitter read it and she'd always get tongue tied on it. I aven't read it since though.

I use to love Dr Seus. They were always so much fun to listen to and read because of the great rhymes. I use to work with a little boy with autism whose favorite book was Fox in Socks. I must have read it a million times. Great book.
