Hi sbksat. Today my latest meal is Asian. I had my lunch at a restaurant in a town called Bahau in my country. I had white rice, fish cooked in hot chilli which we call it here 'asam pedas' and a type of vegetable we call here as 'kacang botol'. For the drink I had ice lemon syrup. My husband had white rice too. But he took another side dish. His side dish were mixed vegetable, chicken curry and a type of fish which we call here 'ikan sembilang' which is fried and later coated with chili. His had ice nescafe for his drink. Actually we went to Bahau to look around. We are going to move out from our current house. Most probably we are going to be settling down in Bahau. So we went there just to look around for houses to rent, and to compare the cost of living from our current place with this new place. Bahau is so much modernized than our actual place. I am glad if we are to settle down there. There is going to be a lot of opportunities for us. Hm... sorry for drifting away from the main topic for a while. Do you want to know the ingredient used to prepare my latest meal? Well... I'll give it to you down here. I hope you like it. Kacang botol Recipe: Slice this vegetable thinly, wash and put aside. Then chop two red onions and a garlic. Chop a fresh red chili. Heat the pan and put one tablespoon of oil. Stir fry the onion and garlic until it smells fragrant and the color turns golden brown. Then put the sliced vegetable together with the sliced chili, put some salt to taste and add half a small cup of water. Let the vegetable cook for 30 seconds to one minute. Now you can serve. Asam Pedas Recipe: Pound 4 red onions, 2 garlics, a slice of ginger and a pinch of black pepper. Cut a stick of lemon grass and just hit it to make it soft. Heat the pan, put some oil and stir fry the red onions, garlics, ginger, lemon grass and chili boh together. Stir fry until 5 minutes or until it smells fragrant. Then add one bowl of water and let the gravy boil. Put any fish into the pan while the gravy is boiling. Let the fish cook. Then add half a small cup of tamarind juice, 5-6 pieces of ladies fingers (a type of vegetable) and salt to taste. After that you can serve. Ikan sembilang (catfish) recipe: Coat the fish with salt and turmeric powder and fry the fish (catfish) until fully cooked. Put it aside. Stir fry pounded red onion and chili boh for about 5-10 minutes. Add salt to taste. Then put the catfish into the pan and coat the fish with the fried chili boh. Now you can serve. I hope you like it. You can try the recipe if you want. Have a nice day, sbksat!

3 cups uncooked elbow macaroni (12 oz) 1 1/2 cups whipping cream 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard 1/2 teaspoon coarse salt (kosher or sea salt) 1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper (cayenne) 8 oz smoked Cheddar cheese, shredded 2 cans (14.5 oz each) Muir Glen® organic fire roasted diced tomatoes, well drained 1/4 cup sliced green onions (4 medium) 1/3 cup grated Parmesan cheese 1/3 cup plain dry bread crumbs 2 teaspoons olive oil Cook and drain macaroni as directed on box. Return to saucepan; keep warm. Meanwhile, heat oven to 375°F. Spray 13x9-inch glass baking dish with cooking spray. In 2-quart saucepan, heat cream, mustard, salt and red pepper to boiling. Reduce heat; stir in Cheddar cheese with wire whisk until smooth. Pour sauce over macaroni. Stir in tomatoes and onions. Pour into baking dish. In small bowl, stir together Parmesan cheese and bread crumbs; stir in oil. Sprinkle over top of macaroni mixture. Bake 20 to 25 minutes or until edges are bubbly and top is golden brown. Makes 8 servings (1 1/4 cups each). Tip: Be sure to use whipping cream when making the sauce for this decadent mac 'n cheese. Milk or half-and-half are more likely to curdle when combined with acidic ingredients like tomatoes.
