I am using Avira Antivir Classic Edition. It is very light on resouces. Since using this one, I never had problems at all. You can update this regularly at your convenient time. Its primary function and advantages is to provide protection against viruses, worms, and trojans, protection against dialers and phishing, and detects and delete rootkits. More than 15 million users worldwide trust in the reliable protection of Avira Antivir, and this is no coincidence at all. Avira has gained several awards. I should hope everyone uses an anti virus program on their computer. I never liked Norton's and I tried a few others but I use something called AVG and it works great.

I am using an antivirus program. I think it is the best antivirus program - Kaspersky 6.0 ;) I have used also Bitdefender, NOD 32 and others, but I really like Kaspersky, and I was pleased also with NOD 32. I think everyone should use an antivirus.

From I started to contact the computer, I have used several antivirus sofewares such as the earlier Rising, Jiangmin KV, and now the Kaspersky companied by the AVG. F-secure recommended by my friends was also a good try. Now I'm customed with the Kaspersky and AVG. And I think that customed is good.

well i have mac a fee installed on my computer and laptop and it is going on very nicely. it saved me from few very deadly virus. there was an incidence when my computer and my friends computer got infected by a virus which created a new folder folder on every folder and that also with an exe extension so my friend was not able to get rid of it with his norton, but mine worked fine and removed it. i just had to restart in safe mode and delete a few files manually and that was it. where as my friend had to backup all his data and format not only 1 partition but all.

Hello binny29, I am using antivirus and antispyware software in my computer. I've alway used them, currently I am using Avira Antivir Personal edition along with Spyware terminator from crawler. Yup, I am pretty much satisfied with them because up to know I have had no problems with my computer. Of course I regularly do scans and update their virus definition files for them to be effective. :-)
