Travelling - Peru - going to see Paddington bear

I'm off travelling to Peru next month and was wondering if anyone had any useful tips or advice for me.

I'm going to Peru for 10 days at the end of January! Is there anything that is a must see while I'm there? What was your favorite part?

Machu Picchu is amazing. Best left until after 4 days of hiking the Inca Trail to really appreciate it, but even if that's not possible definitely go and visit!
