Natural Comfort? - a woman sleeping naked

Have You? Would You? Do You? What are your reasons, if any? I love to sleep naked, but I only started when I started dating my long-term boyfriend. (this is when he started as well). It's great to fall asleep in each other's arms, only feeling your significant other's flesh on yours. My only problem is when I need to get up in a hurry, and having to throw clothes on before I leave the room when others are home =P I love the feeling of it, now if I am wearing clothes in bed, I feel too covered and stuffy. What do you think? Malyck.

I say to each his own. I don't sleep naked but I'm okay with others who do. My hubby used to sleep naked when I first met and married him but he doesn't anymore because he knows I don't like it although I've respected his wishes. I would never ever try to change anybody and their preferences because each one of us is different and that's okay.

LOL No I wouldn't hate you or anybody else for that matter over such a thing. I would if someone was being hurt but there's no such thing happening so it doesn't bother me in the least. Everybody has their own thing and as long as it's behind closed doors, why should it bother me? lol If you like it then I say go for it! lol Have fun sweetie!

That's a great attitude, it's great that he respected your wishes, even though you didn't try to change him. That sort of respect and care is always wonderful =D I'm glad you don't hate me for not being clothed while I sleep =P lol Thanks for your response!

I LOVE to sleep naked. Its actuallt good for you to sleep naked. I dont like the constricted felling. I also seem to end up sweating if I wear clothes. I always keep cloths next to the bed just incase!

I also keep clothes - a long tshirt, or a robe - close by for any emergencies or toilet breaks =P I can't stand feeling constricted either, sometimes, even in winter, I can't even deal with blankets =P

Im the same way. I cant use blankets for the most part. My husband wraps up like a burito in his. I dont know how he does it! I would feel traped.

During the summer I don't wear anything. I keep my air conditioner and heater off except for very extreme temperatures, so during the winter I end up wearing sweat pants and shirt (sometimes even a sweat shirt). It's just too cold even with the sheet, light blanket, regular blanket AND a comforter. I don't have clothes by me during the summer though. I think in an emergency I'll just use the sheet. If the neighbors can't handle what I wear (don't wear, actually) to bed it's their problem, not mine.

Yeah, I try to dress appropriately to the weather/climate, rather than using the a/c or heater too. Lol, I agree - your neighbours can like it or lump it =P I've used the sheet several times, and I actually feel like a Greek Goddess (which is helped by my Greek heritage =P), and have ended up wearing it for the rest of the day around the house. lol. Thanks for your response =D

What about kids? I have slept naked I don't now for some reason - I wear boxers and t-shirt - how boring. Its good to have a robe for emergency dashes to a shared bathroom!

My reasons, similiar to yours, sensuality, not just the feel of a lovers flesh against mine - because when I sleep I like nothing constrictive - even a lover - but the feel of cool sheets against my skin, and if there's a breeze in the room, the luxury of feeling it sweep against my skin. And of course, being awakened by the drowsy need of soft lips against soft skin, the skim of fingertips. You know, like that. Good stuff.

Does your family know about the scars? I know you participated in a discussion about cutting and self injury but you never talked about your family.

Ha, I always used to wear long pants and a tshirt - I didn't want my family to see the scars up my thighs. I do always have a robe, or long skirt/dress with me, by the bed just in case I need to get up and go to the toilet, or someone comes around. Yeah, the sheets and breeze definitely add to the sensuality. I'm a touch/senses person, as I'm sure you are.

Unless it is absolutely freezing cold or I am staying at someone elses house, I sleep naked. My parter has to sleep with a singlet top on, because he gets a cold chest otherwise, lately he's been wearing a big hooded jumper and it drives me crazy, because i like to be covered completely with the blankets, and if he wears that, then he doesnt need the covers up over his shoulders, and so i am constantly waking to my shoulders freezing! I do like snuggling up to him when we're both naked though. Very comforting :)

Sometimes its just better to have two blankets! OR a small thin one for underneath the quilt. What's a doonah?

doona!!!!!!! =d - a doona, or bed spread.
Sorry, I did misspell it: Doona, no 'h'. It's just the quilted bedspread thing.. the thick one that is stuffed with down/feathers/stuffing. It's always been called a Doona to me, but I think that's just one brand name.. Probably not used in the States.

Ahhh the good old Doona! I love mine. We have a feather one, and it's great for summer or winter :) So cozy!

I love it, too, except when I'm having my monthly or I don't feel well. It really is more comfortable than most pajamas, and it's nice to crawl out of bed naked and stumble to the shower. Even though my boyfriend lives alone, I still get a little thrilled doing that, like I might get caught by someone peeking in the window. I'm weird. :)

my comfort level is high when i wear clothes before i get to sleep. its because i tried to be naked but it is not really applicable in our place because its really cold here at night. secondly, there are a lot of mosquito to sting you when you are naked so definitely its not applicable to me. gud day.

Nothing is wrong with sleeping naked. I hate clothes and if it was not for decency and sensibility I would preferably go without clothes. I live with only my child and never lived with a man before but from my ealy years I have been sleeping naked to this day. I enjoy being naked or even half naked in my own house, Have no probs with that. Just be yourself

I like your whole response, but "Just be yourself" is definitely the clincher. That's definitely how I live my life. If I'm home, or somewhere comfortable, I wear as little as possible generally. I very much enjoy the free feeling, rather than being constricted =]

No, I havent done this and I guess will never do. I feel cold easily. I use to go to bed with my pajamas on. If it's too hot, shorts and sando will do but not naked. I also cant sleep without my blanket. LOL

When i got married and had moved here in Texas, I started not wearing clothes and just underwear with me. I am imitating my husband as he is sleeping with underwear only. And now im comfortable of sleeping wihtout clothes.

my hubby is like you... he likes to sleep naked... me, on the other hand, doesn't really like it at all... i do it once in a while to make my hubby happy when he asks me to do it... it is just too cold for me especially during winter and i can't stand it... during summer, then it is fine...

Well it's great that you will still share this intimate time with your husband on occasion, even if it is not your preference. Summer is always a challenge for us, I expect this year to be especially hot *sweats*, so I don't know how we will handle laying together. Thank you for your response =D

I used to get my nightgown or pajama top bunched up to my neck, and I always have my kimono at the floor right besides my bed. It is not for the s*ex part or I like the feel of my husband, or because I have some inborn perversion inside of me, it is because I got sick of almost chocking. I have a thick neck. So I do not wear any clothes when I am in bed, and I do not have to worry about my nightgown or pajama top going squeeie around my neck. You can throw your kimono over the chair besides your bed, and just reach over and put it on, or put it on the floor besides your bed, or over the blanket --especially when it gets a bit cold at night.

Well, if I'm in the privacy of my own home, no I have no qualms of doing that. or with my SO. since I don't have that, me by myself is no problem. though I will say, I feel better with clothes on but on certain nights feeling pretty liberated, I'm down for that.

I sleep naked. I've been doing it since I was about 17. I just can't sleep with clothes on. I end up tossing and turning all night long. Anytime I stay somewhere that I can't sleep naked I just accept the fact that I'm not going to get a single good nights sleep.

Argh. I hate sleeping somewhere where I have to wear clothes. It's just so unfair =P and I too don't get a good night's sleep like I should, unless I'm on the verge of passing out, but I still wake up sweaty and with clothes twisted and caught around me =P If I can, I just keep some clothes under the pillow and get dressed under the covers before I get up =]

I agree =D Although I can't really handle boxers, as they end up lifting around my waist and twisting uncomfortably. =/ I don't mind just wearing underwear and sleeping with a skirt or dress nearby =] Thank you for your response, and have a great day!
