Why do older men want younger women.... I mean

I mean 45 year old men wanting 20 year old females.. I know age isn't really anything just a number but just wondering why older men want younger girls instead of females around their age like 35 and up... Does anyone find this sick or anything that guys like this sort of stuff?

I don't find it sick.I think if a 45 year old man wants a 20 something woman it okay. she is of age and if they are happy together that is all that matters. I think that some 45 year old men prefer younger women because the younger woman makes him feel young. And she doesn't complain as often as women his own age.She makes him feel great and she likes him too why shouldn't they be together. I also think the older woman younger man is great too.As long as both partners are happy together they should be together.

Firstly i think it is a visual thing, I guess young bodies,young skin is what they see instead of looking deeper to what the person is really like then on a more personal level I guess with each generation males and female become freer with their emotions for a want of a better word, once upon a time I know it is hard to believe that in bygone days some men never saw their wives without clothes and there a certain and I think as time goes by things just keep on improving in the eyes of a man... sorry if there is a lot of reading between the lines here....

i think your right on track with the subject.. Older men seem to like that young skin and bodies ect ect.. It's more about that than the girl. very sad huh!

i dont' know, i'm a girl.
but i don't think it is right. how a girl can love an old man? there are so many young and rich men. for me i can't. but i dont' mean it is wrong for few such couples. if it is common for most couples, then i feel it is terrible.
in my country, most of girls with older men for money.

how can they? ... Ok as I stated Age is just a number in my eyes it is.. I will admit when i was 17 I dated a 42 year old, I didn't do anything with him besides kiss I wouldn't do anymore than that.. It's not all about money thats for sure.. I mean ok a older man wants a younger women for their money, I highly dought it it's more vise versa a younger women wants a guy for theirs, than again it can work both ways too, so i shouldn't single that part out.. But no I think it's for other reasons than money I am sure you can get the hint on it.. Now to how can they, If two people love each other rather he's old and she's young that's one thing but if he is going after one thing that's wrong.. just my oppion! I hope you understand what I am saying..

Some of that is genetic based (reproduction is better with a younger female). And part of this also includes the slight attraction to the physical form. A good number of men however, have enough decency to not place themselves in a comprising situation like what you described Wisconsin. For others its personal choice and you won't talk them out of it.

ok i can spill my guts here i am talking about a friend here, he's 45 and want someone younger though he's been fixed and can't have children or so he says.. I think some girls though in the 20's are looking to have children so they don't have to wait and have hard births when they get older.. I don't know just my oppion..

No that's perfectly fine. Your friend could always be lying about some things in his story though (I'd keep that in the back of my head). In that guy's case its definitely visual based. And sorry about making you come clean, but I almost felt there was a personal issue or story behind it :)

i don't think it's sick. Maybe they feel handsome and macho if they go with 20 year old females. Or maybe they think younger women are more active sexually and physically. It also boast their ego.

It's a status symbol for them if they tag along with them a younger woman. No matter how poor they may be in bed for as long as they have a beautiful young lady on their side, no one would think those old men have no onergy at all. They feel young at heart. Sometimes it adds up their lifetime.

For me its the other way around, my husband is 46 and im 26 and I met him when I was 16. The difference here is that he didn't chase me, I chased him. when I met him there was just a 'spark' and I had to get to know him even more.
I chased him for about three months before he finally caved in lol. I don't know what it was that attracted him to me maybe its because he was a kickboxer and I knew he could keep me safe, maybe I subconciously knew he was the one for me, either way we're about to celebrate out 7th wedding anniversary this year.
Not all older men want younger women, some of us younger women go to great lengths to chase the older man!

I fotgot to add lol, sometimes the older men who DO chase younger females may be wanting to recapture something of their youth. They may also want to know that they are still desirable even though they're older than they once were. Just a thought.

Ah just the post I was looking for. I dont think its always the men chasing women. I myself like older men too. For me its a maturity thing. Im not saying someone as old as my grandpa or anything like that. My husband is eight years older than me and we hsve been together for 10 yeahs amnd married for 2.

My 47+ friend want 18 yrs. He said if you find scope to taste a body taste very young one as you never forget what you did in past..lol Elder women also want young guy it mean this natural that one will want its opposite that older will need young but young would not prefer elder one.

well this is a good question but i think that the reason for the old men want yong women is because they are upsed because are old and they think that maybe if they stay with a young women these can bring they a part from youth and they can feel again like when they was really youngers so this is the reason for meny mens want youngers womens

I like your answer and think that has alot to do with it.. And yes I think they want to feel young again so they tend to go for younger females but deep inside they should know it isn't going to happen I mean they are getting older lol right!

I can not agree with you. First of all the lust is blind.
I have seen a lot of young girls of 18 to 25 behind the 45 year old married men and vice versa. Old ladies loving youg boys. it is common nowadays.This is happening everywhere. I think this is not a new phenomenon

Their isn't anything to agree or disagree with it just I am not saying i disagree with men wanting younger women, Cause if I did I would be a fool I've dated older men before I don't find anything wrong with it, it's a question and wanted other's oppion not a disagreement... I think, wisconsin, that this is their way of dealing with growing older. Men, as a rule, have a harder time dealing with aging than women. They will grab onto a very young woman in an effort to try and hold onto their youth, rather than try to grow old gracefully with someone near their own age.

Im not a guy but my guess is that it is an ego thing. It must make them feel young and good about themselves to know that they can get a woman that young but not always. I have seen some very happy couples that have a huge age difference. Sometimes it is the woman that is attracted to older men. It is hard and probably unfair to generalize on something like this. I date men that I am attracted to and age doesn't play a big part for me. I do try to avoid the an age gap of more than 10 years but that's just me. I don't find it sick at all. Once you are an adult then its their own business. I have no strong opinion either way on this one. it's a personal choice.

It's very common... but perhaps for practical reasons, older men want younger women because they need someone to take care of them when they are older...young women are very active and aggressive...and when this old men are 60, their girl will be 40 and still young enough and able to take care of them...(i don't if its true, but may, i guess)...

That could be a very good reason too.. But I think some just wanted them for one certain reason and when they get bored they move on to the next... But yet some don't... I seen a couple that was like 23 and 60 omg I thought to myself why? Well in a sense she don't have to work and he can get his social security see that could be another reason why too...

I think it's partly ego - the whole "arm candy" thing I suppose. Also there's the mid-life crisis aspect. A bit sad but also quite amusing to watch. However, I also think that women in their thirties, forties and older are just generally more "challenging" (for want of a better word). I know when I was younger I put up with all kinds of cr@p that I would never, ever put up with now, and I think most women are the same.

Not sick at all, just Human Nature! Its all about planting seeds in Fertile Ground. Why take a chance on older worked over fields, when a fresh unplanted acreage is right at Hand. Women have limited fertility linked to age, while men are fertile until much later in life. These things are instinctive, written in our genes, and men everywhere have this knowledge. So, of course, a young virginal female looks very attractive. Many Females are aware of this too, and yearn for an older male, Someone with experience to plant His seeds in fertile ground.

Well, my partner is 20 years older than I am, and he fell in love, and so did I. Now we are together for 26 years :)
And to yourt question - why older guys fall for young women? In our case it just happened as a love from first sight for him, and he claims (while I believe him) that he has always hoped for to find me, and had almost lost this hope until he finally met me. Maybe older guys stay younger in their spirit and body while being with a younger woman, as this is the case with my guy. he looks at least 15 years younger than he is, is fisically very fit, and quit strong without doing anything with sport for the latest 15 years. He does work is is active all day around.

it goes teh other way too. I am 38 and gettign checked out daily by soem babies younger than 25 and so on. I dont know the answer to this but one young man told me that he thinks he has the experience to keep me happy and satisfied. I laughed he is only 24 and if they emn I talked were older than I am and I got disgusted with them can you imagine me with an immature child? I must say though that some are really mature for their age but not just for me. Its their preference I guess or they are hoping to be mothered or fathered for the opposites.

I think this is more of a physical attraction rather than of an emotional issue. But if it was a real and a serious relationship, maybe the guy just wants to assure the proper bearing of his children, since a younger female is more capable of giving him this.
