Hi there. We have a variety of fruit trees, from oranges to green bananas, which we dont eat... Also we have alot of potatoes down and spinach, turnip top and silver beet, a big variety of different herbs, some of our own cultral veges as well, I must say we have a healthy garden and we are very proud of it, this enables us to share it among friends and family...

You don't eat the fruit? Is it not good? Do you not like fruit? Can you donate it? Many people where I live go hungry. But there is a place called JCEO where we can donate food that grows, but we don't eat. Also sometimes we can trade with neighbors if something they have I like, but they don't eat and vice versa. After my wedding, the food that we could not eat, we donated to Military Men coming back from training (long trips, many hours) and to a local church for the hungry/poor. I would go crazy eating oranges and bananas. Do you know how much they cost here? I must eat ten dollars worth a week! Both are necessary to eat when a person has high blood pressure and I do. That sounds like a wonderful garden. What are silver beets like? I don't think I've heard of that kind. Is it a special kind? I love herbs! Herb gardens are terrific! You have your own cultivated vegetables as well, wonderful! Sounds like you should be very proud. I'm glad you share your garden with friends and family. New potatoes, I envie you.

My kid brother does that, everyone gives him stuff to eat. I don't seem to "luck out" like that. Nice friends. Good for you!
