In general do you live for today or plan for tomorrow? Explain. I think its important to plan a little for tomorrow, like have some savings maybe buy a small house and land so that you can truly enjoy today. I think its all about the moment though.

I sometimes am the one that, lives for today and then maybe die for tomorrow?!LoL No, I certainly enjoy living in the present then take considerations for what tomorrow may be. I remember the the song, "Que sera, sera," which means "whatever will be, will be." So I just give my best for the meantime and hopefully I'd be doing the same thing again tomorrow, life is so precious and full of surprises!;)

Wow I love everything about your answer raijin - and it was written so well too! You certainly are a humuourous one aren't you. Life is precious and sometimes we get so caught in the day to day tasks that we forget that! The universe is full of magical things patiently waiting for our wits to grow sharper. Eden Phillpots

I'm glad that you appreciate it, because that is what MOST of us don't understand about life. Brightest blessing and blessed day to you, keep on posting!;)

My hubby and I learned some tough lessons by not 'thinking and planning' ahead...so now we strive to 'be' in the moment...but still consider some 'what ifs' and make our choices accordingly. We finally have implemented Quick Books are are living within our means...and oddly enough it is very liberating. We used to spend and not worry about it. Then he had some health challenges...and we really regretted not putting more aside. Thankfully, he is starting to feel better and we are gaining some momentum in our work. However, we are determined to keep a certain level of forethought and discernment while 'living in the moment.' We have found it keeps life sane...and with a greater sense of security.

In this moment - I'm glad he's doing better. I think we could better to at investing more in the future. However the biggest investment now is our schooling that we can make more and be happier in our careers in the future.

I tend to plan for tomorrow most of the time, but it can be hard to do all of the time. I like to let loose a little bit now and then, which usually means "retail therapy." I try to keep it to a minimum, knowing that I do need to plan for the future. It is often about the moment, but I think it's often about balance too. Balancing the now with the future. :)

I think I'm a little bit of both now. I used to live for tomorrow, but now I've learnt to balance it by learning to live for today. Carpe diem! However, I also love planning for the future and having future goals. ;-D
