My first love was when I was 17 and yes, I still love him. I am 33 and after my husband and I divorced, we got together for a while. The problem was I was still looking at him thru a 17 year old's eyes, even though we were both grown. We remain friends and I think I will love him forever.

yeah, that feeling is something which we do not want to let go. just remembering how it feels then is magic in itself. our first love is really filled with innocence. i know what you exactly mean about looking through him thru the eyes of a 17 year old.

people always cannot forget their first gf or bf, so do i. sometimes only when we lost something or someone, we come to realize that we need it. so, since we cannot make the life start again, let's just cherish what we have.

i would rather talk about my first love. he never became my boyfriend but i know that i still love him until now. maybe it is because i am sadly married to the wrong guy. nonetheless, this guy has been my first love and how i wish i had given him the chance to be my first boyfriend ever. i was so young then and was so afraid to indulge in such relationships. so naive of me, now i am regretting for the undoing. it may be sad, but knowing that it was i who was at fault, i had only myself to blame. i know now that the guy was then serious about pursuing me. but the situation is already beyond repair when i realized so.
