Hello!It's already a habit of mine to just leave my handbag open. It's only at home that it's most of the time close, but here in the office it's always open, 'coz I don't like unzipping it everytime I need to get something. Sometimes it's embarrassing if others will see what's inside my handbag as it's a MESS!*yikes*.
If you open my handbag...what's inside it are the following:
::::::::::
1) wallet - I like big ones..
2) 2 mobile phones - one for roaming (Philippines), the other one for local (here)
3) make up mini bag - compact powder, lipsticks inside lipstick case, lipgloss, lipbalm, blusher, blush powder, eyeliner, eyebrow*wehehe* and some hair clips.
4) hand sanitizer
5) vitamins - to remind me to take it..*hihihi*
6) hair comb/hair brush - just a small one
7) vaseline heel guard cream - for my feet, protection & everyday releif for dry & cracked heels..
8) vaseline healthy hand & nail cream - hydrates hands & strengthens nails
9) coin purse
10) some keys
11) small towel and handkerchief
12) gums - mentos, polo.... must have always
13) body spray/perfumed body oil

Yikes!! my handbag is full!*hahaha* full of crap! but believe me or not the inside of my handbag is really like that..messy! You guys must be wondering if how big my handbag is..*hihihi* well, not really big, just big enough to carry those loads..*hahaha*. But I love big handbags.
FYI: my handbag is only like that when I go to work, when I go out I carry smaller handbag and it's lighter..*hihihi*

wow you carry a lot around with you, it must be pretty heavy with all that stuff, I work on a different system to you, I have about four bags one for shopping, one a little bit bigger that I can carry my camera with me, my gig bag that I take to band gigs with which carries a lot of stuff that the band might need, I have another bag that I go walking with which just carries my mobile phone, keys and pepper bomb....so the main things I carry with me that audtamtically go in whatever bag I take is... Wallet, mobile phone, diary, glasses and keys...so i am forever swapping bags....

Hello!
I do swap handbags too, but always end up carrying the same stuff..*hihihi* but if my handbag is small, I just pick those things that I really need for that time.
Are you a member of a band? must be cool!
Guess part of being a woman is swapping handbags...forever..*wehehe*

I don't like handbags. I have a shoulder bag. I always have hand sanitizer, lip gloss, chap stick, a container of pills (allergy, headache, etc) and my wallet inside. When I go to work I have snacks in it (I don't eat lunch, just bring in a snack) and normally that's about it. Oh yeah and gum or mints. But my purse is usually pretty clean.

being a man I don't use a handbag. But I can tell you my wallet is full of junk phone numbers and maes etc written on scrap pieces of papert. Hardly ever any money in my wallet though. HAHAHA. Now my wifes purse.....TIKES! We argue abiout her having to buy new ones so often. She litterally uses hers as a book bag most times. She is a waitress so she always has a lot of loose change. A lot. The weight of this doesn't do her purse any good either. I tell her to buy a good exspensive leather one that,s built with quality and it would last longer. But she buys the cheap ones and 2 months later has to buy another one. HAHAHA!!

Well mine is actually a purse/diaper bag. If you open it up you will find diapers, wipes, an extra outfit for my son, some snacks for my son, my wallet, my cell phone, and some gum. If we are going somewhere then you'll see his sippy cup on the side of the bag. I was carrying a purse and a diaper bag and having to carry my son around. So I just decided to get the one that I could carry it all in so I didn't have to carry two bags plus my son. You can really get a lot of stuff in it and it's really not all that big. It's just kinda medium sized I guess.

Mean that there your teeth are in good working condition and no cavities, you know why? I don't see any toothbrush and toothpaste in the list of items and your photo as well.
For me I don't have wallet just a card organizer for 8 pieces of card; such as ATM card,.....etc.. I don't like to have wallet...I don't know why and just like it.

I don't carry toothbrush & toothpaste in my handbag, I leave those in my drawer here in the office. But I think my teeth are in good condition...*hihihi* yeah, think so.
My photo? in my wallet...
8 cards? lots eh...so you don't carry money/cash?
my father is like that sometimes...*hehehe*

I was looking for it. lol.
Besides the make-up and comb, this basically sounds like my bag - I have an over-she-shoulder bag that I LOVE and I take it everywhere.
It always has gum, honey, a bottle of water, keys, my wallet and some spare change, my mobile phone, a novel, a notebook & pen and normally some rubbish and leaves that get in there somehow =D
I'd like to think that it's neat and in order though =P
If I am going out somewhere fancy, or out to dinner, I either don't have a bag, or I have a small handbag for my phone, keys and wallet =D

Your bag sounds like my bag when I was a student..the novel, notebook and pen..and ohh...the rubbish and leaves! *hihihi*

You are too cute- My purse is always open as well- as I’m too lazy to close it- At times I think to myself- close it- or money might be missing-
Inside mine:
Receipts- I went shopping with my daughter this past weekend and I have not recorded yet my buys-
Wallet- small one- just big enough for some cash, coins, and credit cards
Pens
Pencils
Tampons – hey you just never know-
Hair scrunchies
Gum- always has gum in it-
And Advil cold and sinus-
My desk has the lotions- nail clippers – perfume/body spray- deodorant- loose change etc.
I have a small purse!

*hehehe* I always have tampons/napkin in my handbag too...in the inside pocket...my "secret pocket". Actually, it's a habit of mine to always put tampons/napkin in all of my handbags, every inside pocket of my handbag you'll find one. *hihihi* you're right, you'll never know....in case of emergency *wink*

I thought mine was heavy. I have my address book, my wallet with change purse, my credit cards,pens, my cellphones (sorry only one. I live in Canada the land of high rates for cellphones), my cellphone cords --traveling a lot, need to have to plug it in, my voice recorder, I do not have an ipod====yet, a couple of Cds, and a coupon envelope. Even with that, it is not big enough. Mind you, I have to get another handbag for winter. Yours, on the other hand, have you considered taking a suitcase instead?

Maybe a small suitcase, purple one? *hehehehe*

OK, I just walked over and got my purse (handbag) after I read your discussion. Here are the contents: a thin dayplanner, my wallet, my check book, my eye glasses case, Bath & Body Works Cherry Blossom lotion, a receipt from my trip to Walgreens today, and a pen.
Good thing nothing embarasssing was in there. : )

*smiles* I saw my bag open too and I guess It's always like that when I'm here in the office and even at home.
It's just as messy or worst even messier than your bag is, so here..take a look of what's inside;
1. My wallet-which I make sure is always there.
2. A small notebook-which is very important too,this is where I write down all my to do's..and I ahve to have it in the office everyday.
3. A small organizer/address book.
4. The case of my new eyeglasss.
5. A purple pouch which conatins; 2 lipstick,face powder, my cologne, a tweezer and 2 hair brush.
6. I also have 1 CD here.copies of pictures for printing.

LOL you have a lot of "stuff" in your handbag.
I have my cellphone, house keys with discount cards attached to the keys, spare rubber bands, pkt of tissues, small bottle of perfume spray, coin purse, my wallet, lip gloss x2, small vaseline intensive care for hands and face, and just ran out of wetwipes. On occasion I have some gum or mints.

My handbag is as messy as yours =) I change my handbag depending on the color of what I'm wearing, I'm sharing bags with my mother (as well as shoes hehe). Sometimes when I'm in such a hurry I just pour the contents of my previously used handbag to the one that I will be using =) If you will open my bag you will find (1) kikay kit or make-up kit (face powder, lipstick, lip gloss, blush powder, eyeliner, hair clips and mascara) (2) hair comb (3) wallet (4) tissues (5) coin purse (6) bottle of perfume (7)keys (8) small bottle of mineral water (9) small towel and (10) a small folded umbrella.

I just looked in my purse.
I have a wallet with credit cards, receipts, money, and assorted wallet things. A checkbook holder and checks, a BIG makeup bag with everything I need and stuff I don't, a brush, a little pouch with Go Smile ampoules (They brush the teeth on the go), a bottle with my thyroid meds, Bath and Body Works mini Japanese Cherry Blossom body spray, all natural hand sanitizer in Mango Tango, a Victoria's Secret gift card that I should use, a few pieces of mail, small tube of hand cream, a great pen, a little planner, my iPod, and assorted change. Wow, and I cleaned out my purse and switched to a smaller one last week!

There are so many things in your handbag,so I have a question ,"when you take out a thing from your handbag,how long do you need?",haha.
I have a bag, yellow,no big, and a smaller bag inside it.I put my impportant items in the smaller, incleding my pictures, ID cards, and student ID card,and so on.besides the smaller bag,some things allways in my bag,a list bellow, a comb and a little mirror ,my cellphone(TCL),a notebook with a pen, eysglosses box as well as my wallet.
some times a umbrella in the bag when I go out for shopping.
