If you are a person of faith, do you live your faith beyond the time you spend in church? Are you afraid to include it even if indirectly, in all the details of your life?

I have been told that I am too religious for my own good sometimes. I have to consider every action I take in terms of how it lines up with my spiritual life and the path I believe my Gods have set me upon. I don't always talk about the fact that I am doing it, because I don't want to be accused of being "preachy" or telling others what to do or believe, but there isn't a single moment when I'm not on some level thinking "What kind of impact is my action going to have on myself, other people, and the world? Is this part of my path? Does this fit with my honor code, as chosen by myself and my Gods?" Sometimes my friends will catch me at even when I don't say anything, when I hesitate before making a choice that might seem insignificant, or choose immediately to take an action that I know is necessary even if it seems rash or dangerous at the moment.

I feel strongly that faith should and does inform life. If we believe what we say we do, it should form a foundation and basis for decisions and lifestyle. I believe in the Christian vision of God, therefore I try to live up to the ideals set in the Scripture. Do I always manage? Heavens no! But I'm trying and and I have faith that God is helping me and also forgiving me when I do fall in some way. I've also observed that the people who live their faith to the best of their ability tend to have a close relationship with God and seem to be able to draw strength from that in times of crisis. I've heard it described as a plant with roots. In good times, the roots grow deep and strong so that the plant can withstand drought or other hardships.
