Completely Stumped...

Ok, I am normally a trial and error type person. Trying something until it works but now I'm stumped. I found this pic and would love to use it as a background for my profile page but cannot figure out how. I've also seen other profiles with music, clocks all kinds of things. Is there anyone that can take the time and walk me through this?
I think it would be great if MyLot had a point and click type setup but I'm sure once I learn this I'll be allright.

Go to FAQs and read the part about customizing your profile page, also read about "sorties"
FAQ is located at the bottom of the page

Ya I still couldnt figure out how to put animations or a backround on my page, but good luck.

Don't worry twoey, you're not alone. Quite a few of us have had probs setting up our profiles. I can't change the colour of my sortie boxes. I fill in the details but nothing happens. There's no way I'd attempt a background or music. I also had some badges removed ...they were links to a kids site so nothing untoward...that sort of put me off a bit. I also wrote to admin asking for help and rec'd no reply. So.....................................

I finally gave up and just called in my brother. He's really good at this stuff and for him, it's simple. Hopefully, I can get him to help me out and put some instructions on here to help everyone else out.

I have often wondered how to do this myself, twoey. I even found one that I liked a lot, but had no luck in finding a way to set it as a background page. It would take someone with a bit more experience than myself to really help you out here. Good luck.(:

Don't feel bad, I've spent the last half hour trying to figure out the 'avatar' thing, and am getting nowhere fast! At least you've gotten that much! Nothing like a computer to make you feel like a complete idoit, eh? Let's make a deal, whoever figures this picture thing and or avatar thing out first, fills the other one in!

Just wanted to let everyone know that he did it!! It looks so nice now. I even have my musicbox with some of my favorite songs. As soon as he can, he'll post here to help others out. Check out my profile and let me know how you like it.
