why people hurt others feelings?

Whoever told you, should not have done that. They generally do this because they like to see others getting embarrassed in the crowd. Such psychic behaviour should never be encouraged. You should have pulled her by replying something like, "Nobody asked for your opinion" or something else. Dont ever let anyone walk through you.

i think people who say hurtfull things to you or infront of you need a life. you are right she should not have said anything to anyone eles but to you in private... and even then if she didnt like what you were waring so what... this is the way i look at a lot of things 1) if you dont like what i am wearing dont look at me..2) if you dont like me dont talk to me and last but not least 3) if i feel comfortable than i really dont care what you think... that is how i feel and eveen though i do sometimes feel like my hair or my cloths are not right for the occation, it dont matter to me what everyone else thinks as long as i look beautiful to my husband or my kids that is all that matters...and if you have a better half and they tell you you are beautiful who cares what other people think.... i hope i helped you a little anyway... but that is how i get through some of my bad days...

Oh I am so sorry that someone was so cruel to you. That was definitely uncalled for. It is actually no ones business how you decide to dress to attend a wedding. If I were you, I would have probably said something to that person about how rude she was. I don't understand why some people are hurtful. I think it is some kind of defense technique. Maybe she felt uncomfortable about how she was dressed and wanted to take the attention off herself so she said this comment to you. Still it isnt' appropriate.
