I like Monopoly, but it last sooo long..lol
I love to play Chess. I like a lot of cards games. We played Euchre, Poker, Canasta as kids. War was always fun when bored. Of course if you played that too long you became bored with it, also. Kind of a mindless game.
I love Solitaire. I still play that on Pogo.
My kids played a lot of off the wall board games...Smurfs, Secret of the Nymh (my favorite..lol)
I also love Sleeping Beauty Board Game. But, I think the game of Life was my favorite. You had the car that you filled with little pink and blue pegs for people..spouse and kids...and you either went to work or college. I just loved that game..
Oh..those were the days..lol

Life was a good game. I haven't played it in a really long time. Apparently there are new versions now, like The Simpsons and stuff. I don't know if they've changed the game itself or not but it would be interesting to find out.

Trivia games are some of my favorites. I've never played Risk or Huggermugger but I've heard it's fun too. Scrabble is another of my favorites.

Don't know why but I never really cared for monopoly. Our family always liked scrabble, pictionary, & trivial pursuit. We also played battleship sometimes. I wish we had more time to play board games...maybe this winter:-)

Board games are usually a winter thing at my house. There's just so much you can be doing outside in the summer that we don't want to waste any good sunshine indoors. We have long winters though so we do get a good board game season.
