Once a month my church has "Pizza and a Movie Night". We all get together and scarf down all the pizza we want, and have fellowship for about a half hour, and then we go into the church and watch a movie that is inspirational and upbeat. The last time we did this, we watched The Chronicles of Narnia, because it showed how good can overcome bad. Well, last night, we watched The Ultimate Gift, and let me tell you, it was one of the best movies I have ever seen. Here's a description of it from the website:
"When his wealthy grandfather dies, trust fund baby Jason Stevens anticipates a big inheritance. Instead, his grandfather has devised a crash course on life with twelve tasks – or “gifts” – designed to challenge Jason in improbable ways, sending him on a journey of self-discovery and forcing him to determine what is most important in life: money or happiness."
And here is the link to the website itself:

If you have not seen this movie yet, please do so. It is so worth it! But make sure you have a box of tissues next to you, because it's a bit of a tear jerker....but I promise it will make you smile too.

It is such a cool movie. I've seen it on ebay for sale. But I don't know if stores that sell dvd's would have it or not. It's possible that you could find it in a bookstore that has dvd's, because there is a book out on it too. Thanks hon.

Pretty cool Katlady. Almost reminds me loosely about Brewster's Millions. The guy in that gets an inheritance. That catch is pretty good though, kind of like something you would do to a child to make them sick of smoking.
