I could have swore I replied to this! lol Hi secretbear! Girl I feel you! And I agree with most everyone here, your definately better off! I was dating this school teacher once, and was just falling for him more and more as we went out. No wedding ring, we spent a lot of time together, I had been at his house, no signs of a woman, he met my parents all that good stuff. I really had no reason to ask him really. I just thought I knew from all we had done together. Well one night we had went out with some mutual friends to dinner and a club, and after the club I ended up riding back with a friend insted of him. We were all going to meet at my friends house, on the way his car stopped and he pulled into this empty parking lot to check things out. We pulled over too, and then another car pulled over behind me and my girl Toni....so Im standing there talking to him asking him what he thinks is wrong and this shrilly voice comes from behind us..."MICHAEL"...we all turn around and there this woman stands with her hands on her hips and this "what do you think your doing" look on her face. Im confused, and Im looking at him and she approaches us and asks who I am. Im like who are you wanting to know. She asks if Im with him, and I say yes. She says tell her Michael, tell her who I am. He couldnt, he just looked at me with this pitiful look in his eyes, and since he didnt start talking she did, but I couldnt listen I just grabbed Toni by her hand and we got in the car. Needless to say he tried to contact me directly and when he couldnt he tried contacting me through my friends saying he was getting a divorce....blahzay blahzay....I never spoke to him again. He finally quit trying to talk to me. His excuse to my friends was that I never asked else he would have told me! The nerve of some people, men and women alike! Bay xx

I'm not sure why some people do that, especially those who are not goodlooking ... LOL ... I think it makes their egos to boost higher. I'm glad you were able to dumped him early. That jerk, I bet his wife is working abroad because his salary wasn't enough to give them a better life and yet he has the guts to have another family and to still find and date other victims.

you are lucky that you have found this out. your friend is really good to you. your friend deserved to be thanked for giving you information about your guy. before knowing that he was married already were you still seeing each other? has your police officer had made love with you? you said your hatred for cops advanced a notch, do you hate cops before? what are your experiences with cops that caused you to hate them. you should thank God. you are one lucky girl.

Thank God you found out before you became seriously involved! That is awful! Don't hate police because of him, but it doesn't make it easier to know he is a legal official and doing this stupidity. Is there anything legal that can be done against him for possessing two wives?

Oh lucky you! I hate when people are not honest about things like that. And I can't understand why people have to cheat and live in the lies. For me, it just takes too much energy and I don't want to lie. I am glad that you have dumped him before getting serious. That would suck if things were serious!

Oh wow. What a jerk! The same thing happened to a friend of mine 2 years ago. She found out that a guy she was dating was actually married and still living with his wife! She had always wondered why he never took her to see his house. She broke up with him real quick.

hello secretbear, I think you don't have to blame cops only. But most men, if given the same opportunity, will take it happily. I understand how you felt and you are lucky enough to get away from him before something really serious happens to both of you. Sometimes, I just don't understand men. Don't they feel satisfied with what they have and why they still need to look further even if they are blessed with the best woman in the world?

What a jerk! Men like that give the good men out there a bad name. Just be glad that you are free of that kind of person.

i'm glad that you didn't really fall hard for him to be a victim! It's still good that you found out before it's too late. Single women should really be careful about men like this, they can easily deceive women specialy the innocent ones. We should always try to check his background first, and know his friends and family. If he's not hiding anything then he would be open about you meeting his family and friends. I hope no one will be his victim and he should stop his wrong doings or it will come back to him sooner or later his wife and kids might find out about it and leave him! that would be called "karma". have a nice day secretbear! :)

Yes, it is a very good thing you dumped him before he had THREE wives. Gotta be very careful who you date these days. I don't think it is a good idea to hate all men because of this, however, or even all cops, as there are many fish in the sea, and although I've heard time and again that police officers can turn out to be bad husbands and fathers, there are good, honest, and courageous ones as well who cherish their wives and families and act honorably every day of their lives. Well let me tell you something that may make you feel not as bad. A three weeks ago the man I've been with has been in prison. I supported him and waited for him while he was there, 3 yrs.While he was there he talked about a long term commitment and told me to even use his last name . Well he got put and the times I heard from him became futher and futher apart.Finally I didnt hear from him at all . When I asked his friend about it he said "YOu know I know more than what Im able to tell you about why hes not callin" I told him I wouldnt question him to much because he was trapped in the middle being friends with both of us. Well last week I found out the reason he had not been calling even though he declared love for me. reason was...He was married the whole time after telling me he was divorced, his wife called my answering machine. Of course I was shocked by this. WHAT A CREEP....
