What kind of sugar do you use in your food or drink or coffee? I know most of people will go for Equal. I am not saying that I dont like those sugar but I prefer to have a Regular one, and I just watch how much I put in my food or drink. Equal and Splenda are the most popular one in the market now and I always see people using them... so, tell me... what is the benefit of using it? which one you like the most and why?

I usually buy equal and I haven't tried any others so i'm not sure if there is such a difference except from the normal kind.

Regular Sugar. I don't bother with equal or splenda or sweet and low or anything. I don't have any health problems that require it so I just stick to good old sugar.

Same to me, I dont use anything else beside Regular Sugar... I dont have any problem with my health either. I always watch what I eat and what I put in my food. I believe in Regular Sugar than anything else... it is not treatment or other bad stuff that we need to be aware off

I use Splenda. They say it is made from sugar without the calories of real sugar. I feel I use less Splenda in my tea than I do real sugar. I also put Splenda on my cereal, just a bit, when I have some. I do not cook with it, though I know you can. I am the only one in the house who uses it. I don't know why others don't try it. I had a hard time getting my husband to try no sugar added ice cream. It tastes no different than any other ice cream. Diabetes is in my family history on my father's side. I do not want that disease so I am exercising, using Splenda, drinking more water and losing weight. If I HAVE to get diabetes I'd rather get it when I'm 80 like my father did, than in my 40's.

We use SugarTwin, because most of the other sweeteners leave a 'cotton-candy' aftertaste that neither of us can tolerate. I do use Splenda for baking, but since we're dealing with his diabetes, baked goods are rare around here.
