Recently there was an Alfons Mucha exhibition in my national Museum. And since he's my favourite artist I had to go and see it:P I spend over three hours watching his scetches, posters, paintings and jewlery he designed. Have you visited a museum or a gellery recently? I know many of us prefer going to a movie or on a concert. Still, it's nice to get into the world or art from time to time.

About two weeks ago I visited an exhibition of paintings in oils and watercolors featuring front porches on homes in a shore town. The paintings were done over a two day period and then on exhibit for about 3 months. It was a great way to familiarize people with the local sites and promote art. Some of the paintings were printed as note cards, posters, and the paintings were on sale too. The exhibition was held in a small gallery whose front porch was featured in one of the paintings.

Wow, I love watercolor paintings of shores. I think watercolors fit the best delicate sceneries like shores, oceans and gardens. And printing some of availible painings as a postcards or posters is a common habit, so you can always take something as a memory of your visit^_^
