why some people make there love one CRY?

As for me, my boyfriend on net left me i don't know why he do that for me.. He just left me there's no reason.. I cry at first that he left me.. and Now I'm happy because of my friends here at mylot.. why is it that some people wants to hurt there love one and make there cry? how can we know that this is real love?
