How often you travel along with family?

I just went with my son and his family on a short trip to northern minnesota to a cabin by a beautiful lake. I do travel by myself most of the time..going to see my family!

Not on many occassions we travel to tourist places, but we go rarely.. once in a while..but whenever we do it .. that would always be a memorable one.. Always its nice to watch the kids, who will be having a jolly good time..when they find a new atmosphere.. than the routine one..

Definitely once a year we go out for 10 days during summer holidays when children are also having holidays. It is usually 500 to 750 kms from Bangalore city, usually it is a piligrimate place. It is nice to travel with family members and relatives.

Oh! we love to travel and would just take off to the nearest places around our city, whenever the kids and we have a 2-3 days break. This would be just for a change of place and seeing the places near about our place too. Of course the summer and winter vacations are surely a time to have fun, meet family, friends and relatives, and being at one part of the country, we generally travel to our home town which is around 6-700km away from our place, and we make sure we travel in the train, so that we enjoy being together and doing so many other things in the tain too! Even when we are on the longer summer trips, we dont just sit in one place , as we generally pick up our relatives and family from the other side and all go up to the mountains and enjoy the cool weather there, plus have a lot of fun together. The toughest part is to return back to our home, after such a lovely holiday and being with everyone. It takes me 2-3 days to make the kids come back to their normal routine as they just dont like to return, and if given a choice woule prefer staying on with friends and family too. There is never a year that passes, when we would have just sat home and not visited our famiy, or gone to another place, i think a change is always needed for everyone and if we have things well planned out, we make it an educational plus a enjoyment trip, that would be good for eveyone.
