Board of chicken?

Sometimes I am board of eating chicken. We jerk it, curry it, stew it, fry it, bake it, bbq it....and I am tired. I think part of it is the seasons that we use and don't use. What seasons do you find really give it that kick? How do you cook your chicken?

Have you ever made a chicken pot pie? I really like those. They are so cozy and great comfort food. Here is an easy recipe for you to try. I use the store made pie crust becuase it's just easier for me. 2 frozen pie shells 1-10 3/4 oz cream of mushroom soup 1/2 C. milk 1 bag frozen mixed vegetables 2 C. cooked chopped chicken 1 tsp. minced garlic 1 small onion Coarse ground black pepper, to taste Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Take pie shells out of freezer, separate, lay one pie shell flat, leaving the other in the pie pan, and thaw for 10 minutes. Meanwhile, defrost frozen veggies in microwave; chop and sautee onion. Mix chicken, defrosted veggies, sauteed onion, garlic, soup and milk in large mixing bowl. Pour into pie shell; top with flattened pie shell. Pinch edges together and poke holes in top crust. Bake for about 30-40 minutes or until crusts are done.

This sounds good. I've already printed this out to give it a try. I'm not too sure about the cream of mushroom soup though. I don't eat mushrooms. What can you use as substitiute?

There are others kinds of "cream of" soups. You could try Cream of Chicken or cream of Celery. I bet both would be good.

We like to bread it and either bake or fry it then cut into small bites, then put it on a salad. Just like in a restaurant. Really god, and filing.
