"A defense lawyer (Larry Charles, 50) who was found naked with a 14-year-old girl in a city courthouse pleaded no contest to charges of sexually assaulting the teen and five other girls.".... "A sheriff's deputy making his rounds in the courthouse on Jan. 15, looked into a lawyers' lounge and discovered Charles and the girl.".... "Charles, 50, was charged with rape and related offenses in that case. After his arrest, five other girls came forward and testified that they were assaulted by him multiple times from 2000 to the time of his arrest in January 2007.." The girls ages ranged from 5 to 10 years old at the time of the alleged attacks...... The girls say the assaults happened in motels, Charles' law office, safe deposit box rooms at banks, and in the lawyers' lounge and a court anteroom...... "Charles pleaded no contest to all the counts. Bail was revoked and he was sent to prison...pending sentencing on Dec. 20..Prosecutors plan to recommend a sentence of 25 to 50 years in prison.."..... "Three of the six girls are sisters. One girl was a cousin of the three sisters, and the other two were sisters. Charles befriended their families and started gradually conditioning them to be molested" and eventually escalating to rape, Carpenter said....... This is truly a nightmare for these 6 young girls who are now 11 to 17 years of age..I hope this person gets what he deserves when he gets to prison...this just makes me sick.......
