Hi, has anyone experienced the same as me - before i had my first child, i had a hot body, but i let myself go when i was pregant, not thinking about consequences and ended up with stretch marks on my belly, sides, calfs, thighs, boobs - the lot. they are large and purple and my stomach now looks like a floppy doughnut. My husband says he loves me just the way i am but i often look back and dream that i had my hot body back. any similar experiences? and what does your partner think? and if a single mum, what do guys say when they see it and you are intimate? just curious. thanks!

Don't get too upset, although I know that it seems like a terrible problem. Thing is, lots of people get stretch marks and sometimes they get them as a result of growth spurts or poor nutrition and not just because of pregnancy or weight gain. Maybe you will feel better if you read this article in The Daily Mail and look at the pictures of even super skinny celebrities who have stretch marks. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/femail/article.html?in_article_id=476398&in_page_id=1879

I have had 3 children and have stretch marks. I don't particularly mind them as I feel I am honoured to have my children. Don't get me wrong, some of them are deep and would prefer them less so. I did buy some Bio oil, I don't know if you've heard of it. It is supposed to be really good, I can never get myself in a routine with things like that though. Has anyone else used bio oil? What do you think?

Yeah, it really looks ugly for me, but not enough to make me stay away from the people who has it. I think it will be good for you to have a read about another girl who had stretch marks before and how she deals with it: http://www.squidoo.com/how-to-remove-stretch-marks-tutorial

I also have stretch marks from my pregnancies and i hate them! i had a couple pictures from yesterday with my youngest son (3yo) with his hands on my belly (5 months pregnant) my husband saw them today and said they were so cute and he wanted one. i told him HELL NO!! (also told my best friend the same thing when she asked lol) he asked why not. i said look at the stretch marks! he said yeah, i've seen them plenty of times before and I love every one of them. i know a lot of guys are turned off by them even if they are from growing thier baby. if i were to ever be with another man i'd be soooo self conscious about them it'd be really hard.

I do not have the exact experience that you have. I have stretch marks because of rapid weight lose and gain. I also have cellucite which sux. I really don't feel very attractive. It doens't really matter as I have no partner as of yet. I have no children though.
