I love my cats and dogs because they are as sweet as can be, and because animals never discriminate you or hurt you, they are beautiful and sweet Loving animals, and they Never judge you or expect you to be anything more then to be yourself. Cats and Dogs alike both except you for who you really are and they never ask for anything besides all your love and to be cared for. This leads me to ask all of you in here, how many of you out there Love your animals and why do you love you cat or dog? I hope that you will post a response in here soon! Thanks and take care for now! :D

I have had pets, mainly cats since I was five years old, and I've always viewed them as my children--pets give unconditional love, they don't complain...uh,, well, unless they haven't been fed yet..LOL, they cheer us up when we're low, make us laugh with their silly antics..I sometimes think I trust my pets than I do people..they don't do the mind games that people often will do--they accept us for who we are.

Hello Pyewacket! I have to ask you, is that your cat with that crystal ball? If so he'd look really cute with a turbon on his head. I'd love to have your baby tell me my fortune that's one thing for sure! And you absolutely right, Pets only want to be given unconditional love, and never complain, and in many ways I too sometimes think that they are just a little better then most people that I've ever know in my own life. And cats never lie, or complain. So at elast we both agree about that! :) By the way, I wanted to thankyou for posting your cats photo's and I also want to thankyou for posting in here to. You all have such cute and sweet animals. Maybe I really should add some more cat and dog photos for all of you in here to see. It's just an idea here. Anyway, I hope that you take care of yourself and that I'll be hearing from you soon! :)

I love my three fur baby cats because they keep me company, especially Columbus and Waffles. In the morning, those two cats jump on the bed, reminding me with their presence that it's morning and time for me to get up and give them breakfast. My other cat, Mimi, is still not acclimated and basically keeps to herself. She's five years old and came from a household in which she was the only cat. Her master had to give her up because his son is allergic to cats. Anyway, Mimi seems to be very depressed, but I try to pet her and talk to her and tell her that everything is going to be all right.

Hello Scribe1. Hum it sounds to me like you may need to give little Mimi some love and more time to get use to things. All I can say is keep on loving her and talking to her, and give her time, and let her know that you do care about her and that you do understand why she feels so sad. I have a feeling that if you keep doing this, hopefully she'll eventually open up to you more. Either way, I do wish all three cats well. Hopefully I'll be able to hear from you again soon. Thanks for posting! :)

I agree, though it's hard to do sometimes. If my other cat, Waffles, is too close, Mimi goes crazy and growls and tries to bite me. She's bitten me before --- her response to a friendly overture. I just wanted to pet her. So she still isn't used to me, either, although she's been here for about two and a half months. She reminds me of a feral cat. That doesn't matter, as I love her all the same and will continue to do so.

I love dogs and cats the same. I feel that they can be great companions and they love you and accept you no matter what. We can learn a lot from their unconditional love.

I love my puppy...he's like my kid. He has hurt my b/f b4 though, he bit him when he took his stuffed turtle away from him. LOL. But we love him even when he gives us attitude. Then again, my b/f gives me attitude too...LOL. I have to love them both and I do very much and I know you do too!!!!!

I love all my animals not just for the unconditional love they give to me in return but they also give me purpose. I know that I have to take care of them because no one else will. I have a one eyed dog no one wanted because she had one eye. This was not her fault and when I saw her I could not resist even though one of her brothers with no problems was right next to her. I collect misfits and cast offs I don't descriminate the only problem with that is my neighborhood knows this and leaves their unwanted on my door step. I have been called crazy many times for the collection I have but I believe they give me just as much as I give them. There have even been times when I had no money to buy their food and had to cook for them because I could not eat unless I knew they were fed. I know I am not the only one out there who believes being a good person entails taking care of all things human and animal and helping as much as we can when we can. I don't have much but my animals and family are fed and as long as both need me I will stick around to serve my purpose.

Hello Meanangel. First of all I don't think your crazy at all. Actually you sound like a very giving and loving person. It not everyday that someone takes in sick, abandoned or hurt animals and gives them a good loving home, so for that I do commend you! It's just very sad to hear about all these sweet adorable animals in your neighborhood end up being used and abandoned and hurt. But thanks god you are there! :) Sadly, the majority who abandon their animals are often parents of very young children who just get tired of the animals in question or the animals will often grow out of it cutre stage, and that is truely very sad. But the good thing is that You care about these children, and you deserve an award. Please never stop loving these sweet animals, Ok? I know that I am on your side. :D

Hi simplegurl1969 - what a lovely post! I have 6 cats - Sasha, Henry, Frodo, Wilby, Clarence and Lily. And I totally agree with you! My cats are my babies - I adore them! Animals are much more straightforward, loyal, honest and loving than most human beings. Give them warmth and food, and in return, they will give you a lifetime of love, loyalty and respect. They will not lie, cheat, or stab you in the back like people do. I always hate it when newspapers call human beings who commit murder, or some other hideous crime as "animals" - that is an insult to animals. Generally animals only kill for food and to protect their young - not for pleasure, over some daft religious concept, or any of the other things that drive man to caery out such inhumanities to man. I wish you years of pleasure with your cats and dogs.

Moomin - My lovely cat
Moomin gives me unconditional love and little*gifts*, listens to my problems but never judges, always greets me wen I come home and always makes sure I hear the alarm clock in the morning.

I absolutely love all animals. Whenever I feel down or lonely, I know I have my cats to keep me company and love on me. I return that love all the time. I have several cats because I can't stand to see cats without a loving home so I bring them home to me to provide them with all the love they deserve. Sometimes people have the wrong idea about cats and that makes me sad. They feel as though they aren't as loving as some animals like dogs. I know that all of my cats are the most precious, loving animals I have ever owned. I also have one dog named Chip. One christmas when I was younger I wanted a puppy so bad and a few weeks before christmas someone just dropped him off with nowhere to go so I took him in. So he is my little christmas miracle. He is a very loving dog and I have had him ever since. I am just lucky my husband is as much as an animal lover as me. lol

I love my puppy Bijiou. He is like my son and he is treated just like a son. He has his own clothes, doggie bag, all his stuff goes in when we go somewhere, which has water, baby wipes, his clothes, doggie treats, etc.. Are we crazy or what!
