Do you ever treat yourself to a takeaway, if so, how often?

I treated myself to a indian takeaway this evening. I just love Indian food. I had prawn biriani, which comes with vegetable curry; chickhen korma, a mild (very) chickhen curry and a nan bread. It was delicious. It was so nice that I ate nearly every bit of it. Usually I purposely leave some for my breakfast in the morning but I just couldn't do it today. How often do you treat yourself to a takeaway and what is your favourite? Denise

Don't you ever phone up a take away service like Chinese or Indian during the evening instead of cooking, or do you cook every night. Denise

i havent eaten takeaway in 6 months mainly due to the fact that we moved and its a bit far away the food would be cold by the time we got it back so we tend not to bother, we dont keep phone numbers for takeaways as it would make it to easy to call everyday instead of cooking lol, instead i treat myself to some chocolate once a month much better than a greasy burger.

Oops! LOL! I tried to go back one page to add something that I forgot i had wanted to say, and it was blank so I thought I had to write the whole thing over again. I did pretty good, I almost got it word for word, but I still feel rather like an idiot!

Man o man, i sure wish there was an Indian restaurant around here I could call up and have delivered! I wouldn't even care if I had to go there and eat. I don't think there's even one Indian restaurant anywhere in the entire state where I live right now! How lucky you are! I try making my own but it never comes out as good as in a restaurant, and some restaurants are better than others too. When I lived in San Francisco there was a vegetarian Indian restaurant that I went to all the time. I have never had food so good except when I was in India itself. I love Lamb Curry, and that bread that you can use like a spoon to scoop your food up with. My mouth is starting to water just talking about it! Anyway, that restaurant in San Francisco offered cooking classes but I never got around to taking them, and then I moved back to L.A. I am still regretting -years later- not taking those classes. I see that this discussion was started a long time ago, but I couldn't resist responding anyway.
